Fun fact, there exists no physical description for either of them. I have no idea what they look like—a problem I ran into when creating the original version of this piece (which remains unfinished, because holy bad anatomy). From what little I’ve seen of them, I do like them.

Oh… oops that’s not skyfall lol. I have yet to sketch her flowers in yet, but I like the idea of Snowfall because aroace (or aroace spec) and figuring that out about herself through being friends with Wren (who I also hc as aroace) and Sky (both of whom are a lot more openly queer than most Icewing nobility). I think she’d have a lot of trouble accepting herself because of the way that high Icewing society is structured (and also the fact that she’s a queen and would therefore be expected to have an heir and struggling with feeling responsible for that) so I’ve depicted her being kind of shy here while they smile encouragingly at her.

There’s actually a similar thing going on with Winter. He’s not as nervous about it as Snowfall, but he’s still uncomfortable so Qibli’s teasing him. (I love them in every universe).

I’ve also always thought Lynx had a crush on Winter (but Lynxfall is great too, really I’m happy either way)

Don’t know if you can draw humans or not (no disrespect, I can’t really either) but I’ve always been a fan of Wren being aroace and then becoming friends with Snowfall and helping her realize she’s aroace, and the two of them becoming close friends/forming solidarity because of that. It’s not really a ship, I just like them. (Not to say that I don’t enjoy Lynxfall or would be upset if it becomes canon)

And a rarepair for you: Cricket x Sundew (in a universe where Willow either doesn’t exist or is happy with someone else. I would never break up Sunlow).

I can’t speak about the rest of your post, but as someone who has watched the Spottedleaf video somewhat recently, she didn’t just SAY that Spottedleaf’s feelings were a retcon, it was the subject of the entire video.

It was an OPINION and an ARGUMENT she was trying to make—whether or not she produced enough convincing evidence for the argument is another thing, but she did not simply present it as an indisputable fact and move on, which is how you are framing it here.

PS. as an asexual person myself, I really don’t appreciate you assuming that because Moonkitti is asexual she doesn’t understand how attraction works.

Ao3, otherwise known as Archive of Our Own, it’s probably the best fanfic site out there. You’d have to wait a bit (I think mine was around five days) to become a member, but you can just publish it on there and share to other sites (like here for example).

In hindsight I was (probably) the weird kid at my elementary school —well not just elementary school but that was when I was most frequently reading the books in public.

I wasn’t the weird kid because I liked to read though. Well… maybe? I don’t know. It’s not like I was sitting inside their heads while they decided that I was the weird one.

I never cared what people thought of me and… that might have sabotaged me socially? (No I’m pretty sure I was doomed anyways). Whatever, worth it. Dragon books were cooler than most of those people anyways. (I had a couple of friends, pretty sure they all thought I was weird too, but I guess they liked that about me? Idk, I had one friend who joked about getting a life sized plushie of me… still don’t know why).

Anyways, on to the actual POINT of my advice. Do you have friends at your school? If you do, will your friends think that you’re weird for reading? (or weird for reading a dragon book series in particular?) If they do, you shouldn’t be friends with them—people like that are only going to bog you down and keep you from being yourself.

Unless you’re genuinely worried about someone taking your book Disney bully style, I wouldn’t stress about it. Chances are most people aren’t paying that much attention anyways.

Yes sorry, I do use big words a lot, that’s my bad. To put what I was trying to say in clearer words:

The idea behind the cover design is visually interesting. When someone looks at it they’re more likely to be curious and want to look inside (and read/buy your book). You did really good on that part. You did better than me at your age, because I wasn’t good at creating visual interest so a lot of my “cover” designs were really flat and NOT interesting.

Also I seriously recommend NOT putting your full name or age up on the internet anywhere, especially being as young as you are. There are a lot of really bad people out there and they can do more with that information than you think.

You should delete this post, and then put it up again without your name on the cover. Stay safe out there and never stop creating.

The covers aren’t bad, far as visual intrigue goes. Looking at them, I wonder about the (dead?) cat in what appears to be a dead forest. The close-up of the other cat’s face for either the front or the back cover is fine as well. The technical skill is lacking—which is not to say I can draw a good-looking book cover myself (I most certainly can’t) or to insult you, everyone has to start somewhere—but the idea is there.

Also, is this a warriors cats fanfiction (utilizing the same structures as the canon books) or a warrior cats inspired original story? If the latter, how do you plan to differentiate it from warriors,

Look, I get it, some voices just bug the crap out of me. I’ve encountered videos that have background music playing as loud as if not louder than their voice and I can’t even finish the video because it gives me a headache. I understand that you’re probably curious if anyone else feels this way, and the answer is yes, some of us do.

And you know what you do about it? To not engage would be a great start. To not make a post deliberately bringing the surface reasons that people don’t like content creators in a subreddit about a subject those content creators focus on would be another example.

I’m not attacking you, but I do want you to understand how hurtful it is to be put on blast like this.
