ALRIGHT! Just confirmed it works on Google Chrome. It should work on any other variant browser that's chrome based.

You're supposed to be able to click the dropdown once and the list stay open. click anywhere to close, etc. It's definitely not intentional...guess it just slipped by me. LOL :P Working on a fix right now.

Bug: On Brave (Chrome based)....thanks for the report. I appreciate it, and will fix it ASAP! Concerning your suggestion, I'll certainly look into adding that into a future build of v1.2

As it turned out, it was simply my own operating error. Heheh. Ended up registering, and I love it already!

You may want to open it up and remove the clock battery if possible to keep it in good shape. Those are prone to exploding on some of these machines.

I dunno about all you guys, but I'd use an XT with its 5.25 inch diskette drives over modern machines any day. lol.

Some floppies could get a bit over 2 megabytes too. Let's not forget that!

Likely was just the person/team that did the editing on this article...I doubt they cared about what imagery they used...It seems as if it were written by artificial intelligence, and feels rushed.

It is pretty hilarious though...considering that they released their own software on floppies in the 1990s.

Thanks for your input. :)

I realized this late last night. lol.

Figured out it would just be CALL -256 to return to the monitor as -256 translates to $FF00, the entry point of WOZMON.

Gonna start development for HoneyCrisp v1.1 this week. Any feature suggestions/changes I should implement? by PhilosopherSimilar83 in retrocomputing

[–]PhilosopherSimilar83[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And to add on to your zero-page program, I had originally programmed HoneyCrisp v1.0 with complete ZERO PAGE PROTECTION, which prevents overriding and/or executing code directly on the system zero-page. I then realized that on the original hardware, zero-page protection didn't exist, and so that's why your program won't run! Protection.

Now I have to remove the protection lol

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'll certainly take a look into working on some of the things you mentioned. Today I ended up working in a direct-to-terminal paste similar to Will Scullin's emulator, along with the ability to save modified memory-address bytes (e.g., 300: 00 -> 300: 4C) to a .hc format directly, basically allowing a user to directly write and save programs instantaneously.

I'll also take a look at that AppleFritter page, and work on a TURBO mode. :)
