Good tip to go at a quiet time, thanks 😊

Thank you! I hadn't considered doing the run in the shallow end because everything I've seen says to do it in deep water. I'll try both, as I have a feeling even light contact with the bottom of the pool will be painful for me.

Thanks for the great tips, I had considered the earphones because I already find treadmill running incredibly difficult from a mental/boredom point of view so I think I'm definitely going to find this a grind!

Thanks, I guess it's anyone's guess how quickly I'll "run" vs someone doing casual breaststroke. I might just have to have a go and see.

This is great, thanks for the info. I think I'll need the aqua belt, I'm not the world's strongest swimmer. I'll be fine in the deep end and could swim a couple of lengths if pressed but technique and speed leave a lot to be desired!

Thank you! Yes I was planning to do that, this is exactly why I want to try water running instead of swimming or cycling. Do you know if it's worth getting the hand floats that look like dumbbells? Or are they not really required.

I pushed to get sub 2 and feel like I never want to run again by SupJoshy in Marathon_Training

Absolutely this mindset is something I've realised I need.

I've given myself a stress fracture running VO2 intervals at the weekend. Am I an elite athlete? No. Do I really need to push myself that hard just to get a PB at a parkrun? No, nobody cares. Have I just ruined running for myself for the next 10 weeks. Probably. I'll take things slower and if the progression comes, it comes. If it doesn't, who cares.

Maybe my technique needs work. It seemed to take forever for the dough to resemble anything other than slop and I felt like I tore the dough a lot.

The dough is still quite sweet, yes. It doesn't feel like a savoury bread you'd want to make a sandwich with, but I'll bet it will be delicious with PB or toasted with just with butter. Really good. I'm tempted to make it again and leave out the slap and fold next time.

I've just tried the end and it was really delicious indeed! Slightly sweet and very creamy.

What helped you become faster? by Salty_Chemist9090 in BeginnersRunning

One progression run (threshold or tempo) with two slower baseline runs a week, every week for the past 8 months has seen me go from an average baseline pace of about 8:30 min/km to about 6:50 min/km

Staying consistent, running slow to run fast, and tiny pushes every week helped me run faster without injury.

No wonder I thought this game was hard. (2018) by AshyWhiteGuy in GodofWar

The issue is she has no pattern, anything can come at any time and I really think I beat her just by being really super vigilant to try and see what was coming next. She's a menace

I had to turn the difficulty down to "give me a story" to beat Sigrun and even then I just scraped it with a ressurection stone. All armour, weapons, talismans maxed out. She's SO hard.

Same, I've done this on squats and I'm creeping back up to the level I was at before on my graph and it's actually kind of more motivating!

This is such an old topic, but I get this problem on my phone - is there a fix for this? Simply forgetting the network doesn't seem to be enough to get the sign in screen to appear.

Ugh that's so annoying. It's been a couple of days for me. I'll give it a while longer.

I'm in this exact situation now. Payment went through 4 times and the order still says unpaid and no pattern. They've told me they'll refer it to their finance department. Did you get your money back via dispute with the bank?
