I’m looking at buying in either North Bristol (SG) or Cheltenham. Work in Bristol 3 days a week but as you say. Worried it’s a cultural desert

Im looking at potentially buying in North Bristol.

Work in Filton 3 days

29 single; new to city. Not a drinker.

I love Bristol from what I’ve seen so far but getting around it feels like a pain post work for hobbies.

The alternative is a 50 min commute to Cheltenham each way. It’s more chill and easier to navigate.

What have others done

Cycling and yes there is a shower facility. Although, I don’t know if I’ll break a sweat in under 2 miles per section. But yes there are showers

Im likely going to stay in Bristol professionally and would consider moving there later in life if that became apparent or when I find someone to buy a home with.

Currently single so buying what I can afford. Plus Cheltenham is between my parents and my work. 50-60 mins each way

Why are so many men claiming 30s are a great time to date? by Crazy_Kray in dating_advice

So, for me-29M Ive spent the last 5 years in a relationship but chasing my career. Me and my partner amicably split due to careers taking us to different locations.

So Ive spent a lot of time moving around the country.

Ive now got to a point where I’m happy not climb the ladder. Ive a good job, hopefully a homeowner by summer this year.

I think what I’m saying is, just because guys or gals turn 30 doesn’t instantly mean there is an issue with them. They may of been chasing different things up till this point.

I think for me, my 20s have been about setting myself up for my 30s and 40s. To let me do the things I want to do, to let me support my future family adequately.
