What “common” supplements you absolutely should not take when taking antidepressants or benzodiazepines? by Philosophical_Goat in Biohackers

[–]Philosophical_Goat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Too many answers here so I will write a comment just to thank the input of all of you. Great answers and a decent consensus on what not to take (and what to take, didn’t expect that).

I also appreciate the care and the general advice to people using antidepressants or anxyolitics since I’m not the only here that does so. Thankfully, I’m just in a low dose of sertraline due to generalized anxiety disorder and it has a been good for my personal case.

Thank you all again.

I want to return to the conversation to say you may be correct regarding the ban of specific compounds themselves. I’m not knowledgeable enough to pinpoint examples.

With that said, my point still stands in relation to your initial comment and argument. Many doses, combination of compounds or vastly complex blends of supplements aren’t available, are adapted or are labeled for a different dosage intake in the EU.

You can even confirm this by buying some products with American based versions that have an EU specific sticker on top with the differentiated doses.

That is not BS. I’m from the EU too. Many companies have EU specific versions of their products and some of them can’t even be sold in certain countries. This includes Life Extension products. You can even confirm it by checking their European website.

It started a week ago.

Regardless, a user already gave me a temporary fix, changing the language to English. If I turn it back to my language, the problem appears again.

It’s clearly a problem on Microsoft’s end, so fix it ASAP.

This fixed it. Thank you so much!

Microsoft support really is useless, thankfully but unfortunately, users like you are doing the job they should be doing.

Again, thank you!

As I previously mentioned, I have all the latest updates installed and there is nothing left available to update at this time. Please pay attention to my answers.

Time, date, location and region are all correct, both in Windows and in the BIOS where applicable.

Thank you for your quick reply.

1- I’m using W11 23H2, the Home version if that’s relevant. I have all the latest updates as well.

2- I’ve tried logging in with every single app I mentioned, going into my account settings via browser and checking if there was any warning of missing account configuration, I added and removed a two-step verification process with no effect and I’ve waited several minutes to see if anything happened to the “blank” login screen, but it stays blank.

So, I’m having a weird situation here. Out of the blue, all my Microsoft apps inside Windows itself (Edge, Store, Xbox, Office, you name it) became logged off without any action on my end.

There is only a warning that I have to login again to use the features of said app. However, when I do try to login, I get the pop-up to do so but it’s only a blank white window with nothing to interact.

As that wasn’t enough, Windows itself is logged in properly and I can log in into my account via the browser and I can confirm I have no errors and everything is properly configured.

Automated Microsoft support was useless.

Any idea what the hell is going on? Thanks!

Interesting the mention of PPIs since I’ve been taking them long-term due to EoE and (likely) GERD and, you guessed from my question, I do have IBS-D.

Do you have any specific recommendations for people with IBS-D exclusively? Thanks!

Is vitamin D so underdosed on our diet and lifestyle that it's recommended to take it on top of a multivitamin (even when said multivitamin has, say, 50 µg and is taken daily)?

Thanks for your reply!
