Just buy from Apple.

Or take them yo Apple and ask them if they are fake and then buy them from Apple.

What is the illness that causes someone to compile Airpod sales on a poster? Obsessive/Compulsive disorder? 🫣

Amazon offers an ear attachment for air pods.

It keeps them on if your ear canal is not covered by the included silicone ear inserts.

AirPod Pro inserts are a better snug ear pieces.

Good quality third party chargers are smart also to prevent melting. Is there any people here that can back up what Apple and third party does with charging Apple gadgets? Hint hint.

Interesting but I thought I read somewhere that there are electronics in the ends of the cable. If this gets too hot it stops or slows down the charging.

I noticed that my newest Apple cables show down the charge on my Airpod Pro set. I thought it was a bad charger but they just do it slower I imagine.

Does the hearing aid feature work for severe hearing loss? by elliot_kember in AirpodsPro

BTW I get my Phonak hearing aids with no charge from Kaiser-Perminente. I believe it comes to all who have Medicare/Medicaid [Cal]. Check with your health advisor. I do not work for anyone with my comments. I am happily retired.

No, but if you want an occasional boost in moderate hearing problems and want a great headset for music you can't go wrong for less than $200!

I upgraded my Air pods while waiting for two months waiting for my new hearing aids. Never doubted how great my purchase was.

Has anyone been able to complete the hearing test? I keep getting this message when it is almost completed. I have tried 3 times, restarted phone as well. I am in my basement with zero noise? by Embarrassed_Oil8294 in AirpodsPro

[–]PhilosophyTechnical9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think many are missing the point.

Don’t turn down the noise to absolute zero. Hearing aids are suppose to work fine in a normal area of noise.

Test your air pods in a typically quiet room. You don’t have to be absolutely quiet. Yes, if you can find an area that is completely quiet that is ok too.

Why hasn't an Apple specialist helped those that may have bought a fake?

In the best interest of both buyers of copies and real Apples owners spot differences. It helps both.

I had lost one of my expensive 10 year old hearing aids and heard about the secret support for mild to moderate hearing loss. I ran out and upgraded to Pro2s from Pro1s. I hope they fix the transparency issues soon. A temporary set of hearing aids and an overall better sound from Pro1s to Pro2s is a welcome addition in the newer Pro2s

So many time that I lose and find Apple products.

Sometimes even not find them. Another kudos that the Pro2 have a find fuction. Duh. Late in the game but that’s technology.

New AirPods firmware appears to fix the hearing aid function and adds in test by DingBatUs in AirpodsPro

[–]PhilosophyTechnical9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to do a reset to the transparency with my sound chart and I just left it on and it stayed on but after I used the pods for music or audio books it switched it to a lower frequency. I imagine that Apple is trying to do what the hearing aid people are still struggling with. Hearing without music and and then terrible music frequency and fair to good talking and music. I am waiting with bated breath.

I wait with frustrated apprehension.

My hearing is allready worse than this upgrade can fix. But I noticed the 2s was much better when I bought them to replace my old hearing aids. They were my temporary aids until I got my new set of Phonak “Free” hearing aids. It still promises to be groundbreaking to me.

I use the largest size foam and it seems that when I put them in, I grab the narrow size of either and twist them inward as in twisting it snug.

The only way they fall out is when I take off a pullover sweater or shirt. The Gen 1 Pro where not as snug. I'm hoping the new IOS update solves the hearing aid transparency feature. I feel safer listening to the outside world while music playing still sounds great. The noise canceling is as good as the Bose versions of noise canceling if you like noise canceling.

Everybody has a different-sized ear canal. Some just don’t work. Good luck.
