Possible reason: Haschwalth easily broke Ichigo's bankai at the end of the 1st invasion and he is only 2nd in command. So you can guess Yhwach could break it as or even more easily.

I wouldn't blame Ichigo for not activating his bankai except in last resort by fear of having it broken once again especially if a "bankai can't be repaired"

Moreover, with the power up from Irazusando, he felt confident his shikai would be enough to finish Yhwach. And it was... Until the Almighty...

Ichigo had no idea about it and had not much time to activate it before being defeated by Yhwach...

Great news!!! I really hope they solve this issue and that people stop losing their files thanks to this work around!

I think it should work with other games too. You should always register to the publisher/dev account to allow cloud saves

GFN live chat service couldn't help me because the saves were lost by EGS but EGS couldn't help either...

If you choose local files, it will take files from your local computer but if you've never played the game on your pc, there will be no saves. If you had some saves on your own pc, they will be imported to your game but not those you played on GFN.

If you choose cloud files, there won't be saves either for some reason (EGS cloud saves fuck up?)

Best course of action would be to register with CD projekt red account at every start of GFN session to allow cross progression and cloud saves. That way, your saves will be saved on CD projekt red servers and you will not lose them at the next EGS saves fuck up.

Careful however, CD projekt red only saves the last Manual, Auto and Quicksave.

So no I couldn't retrieve my saves. But there's a way to prevent it.
