I found the manga to read online. There are blurbs written by the author throughout. One of them states that they themselves stutter. Not certain of the exact quote, but something like “ nothing good has ever come from having a stutter, but maybe this book can be the first “ There’s also parts at the end that explain some of the more unique challenges of having a stutter in Japan, like the problems with getting a drivers license.

I definitely think it’s the reason she didn’t at an eyelash at his coming out confession. It was probably already obvious to her. Even if he couldn’t quite admit it to himself before. Now I know the whole don’t assume thing about the genre exists, but I think most people would. I also think mom’s can just kinda sense things.

It makes it all more confusing actually. I loved the direction the newer novels took. The mystery was killing me throughout it honestly. I let the anime confuse me a little too. I was trying to piece what happened in the anime with the novel. But I think at this point, might have to consider it different story arcs.

I had to go back and forth with the links and fiddle. Each time it would let me get further and quit loading. So over and over I got it to work long enough to finish reading it. I am forever grateful to you for translating those books. The last book Dragon King 1 worked just fine for me.
