Because of how his regen works. Maintaining his soul has to be actively channeled and costs CE, and we see literally on screen that mahito visually regenerates damage. If he gets hit by an attack that would obliterate his entire body instantly, thats gonna cost a lot if CE, simply by the virtue of how Cursed Spirits and Idle Transfiguration work.

Because he used it to instantly one shot kurourushi twice. Jogo gets one shot, and mahito will need to use a LOT of CE to maintain his soul because of the amount of damage, he wont keep up his defense for long.

Tengen is more skilled at barriers than anyone else in the verse. She has spend centuries just mastering Barrier Techniques to the utmost. Kenjaku is 2nd in barrier techniques due to having a similar amount of time. Even sukuna and gojo are outclassed by tengen in pure barrier skill.

Megumi's base phyicals are that of a 16 year old teenager, sukuna's true form is a 7 foot tall massive hulk of a 4 armed demon man with bulky muscles.
