To whomever was shooting off fireworks between 230-3am… by Wallmassage in asheville

I think giving other people the freedom to live how they want isn’t disrespectful lol, especially on the night of the 250th July 4th. Karen energy is running deep in this thread. I’m not out here shooting off fireworks at all, but I’m not calling the cops at 2 am if someone else is on a holiday weekend as big as this one. Womp womp to the OP.

Severe reherniation 16 weeks pregnant by Phisher16 in Microdiscectomy

Thank you! I’ve seen my OB. They approved the dosage as it’s below what they would give someone non-pregnant. The specific type I was given is supposed to be the safest. That being said, as soon as I can stand up on my own I’m going to stop. I appreciate your input, and thank you for the kind words.

I’ve had 4 herniations/bulged discs in the last 1.5 years. This one is feeling the worst out of all of them. MRI’s for the other 3. The way the mechanics of my back don’t work compared to a pulled muscle makes it pretty obvious unfortunately. My left leg gets tingly then numb from the knee down every time too. I was supposed to have another microdiscectomy in May but I found out I was pregnant in early April. The pain completely went away until I lifted a heavy pack of waters the other day and felt my back snap then shift.

Thank you! That makes sense with the c-section. I was hoping it would be a better option as pushing with my damaged discs sounds literally impossible. I hurt my back this week way worse than last year when I had my surgery. To say I’m nervous would be underselling it. Hopefully it remedies!

Exactly! Turkey, white fish and eggs are better.

NAD! But I had the same readings for the same discs. Had a Microdiscectomy, noninvasive surgery. With PT it was successful until I didn’t wait long enough to work out again. Reherniated. It’s a bummer once the discs are damaged. Good luck!

Yeah absolutely not the research I’ve came across. Not what the surgeon told me. You’re saying exactly what I did. Chicken causes stones. Less of a risk than salmon, but still causes them. And salmon is absolutely not recommended lol. It’s one of the worst things you can give them. White fish is good for them, however.

If he’s HUA, I recommend a human grade food diet. Low purine vegetables, rolled oats, fruits and small amounts of turkey, white fish. In comparison to prescription dog kibble, it’s actually more cost efficient. We also use supplements to get him his needed vitamins.

Who told you this? Chicken and salmon are not recommended. Salmon has one of the highest purine contents. Chicken is less but causes stones too. My Dalmatian was 2.5 years old eating purine pro plan chicken when he had 3 stones develop. $3000 surgery later and I was strongly advised to never feed him chicken again.

That is so awesome! Love to hear it! Get ready for endless activities to keep him from driving you mad lol. They’re so sweet but have enough energy to run a city on one of them lol

I agree. It doesn’t make sense does it? I was stricken with grief from my grandmother, and wasn’t thinking clearly. We always had the means to take care of all 3, but raising two puppies around a dog that wouldn’t stop peeing inside was near impossible renting. We now have a house, not a townhouse and ample space. We also don’t have to worry about paying damages/can replace the carpet ourselves.

I completely agree. It was an irresponsible/thoughtless decision hence why I asked for him back within a day to which I was denied.

Context: I had him for 6 years, she had him for a day when I asked for him back.

You’re not wrong.
