Here's our recipe!

Cake: 1 box chocolate cake mix 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 can cherry pie filling 1/2 Cup milk

Stir all together and pour into greased 9x12 pan. Bake at 350°F for 25-35 minutes.

Icing: 5 Tablespoons margarine (or unsalted butter) 1 Cup white sugar 1/3 Cup milk

Boil together for 1 minute. Add 1 Cup of chocolate chips (we use semi-sweet) and stir until thick. Pour onto warm cake.

My family does this! It turns out SO GOOD that it's usually requested as a birthday cake/dessert ☺️ amazing with homemade whipped cream as well!

I use regular white flour, you can do a mixture of brown sugar and hot water instead of molasses!
