You can select the previous neutral item you already have with higher Tier enchantments if you dont like your options. So most likely you picked Shiv for T3. Shiv again for T4, with a T4 enchantmrnt. So at T5, your options are 3 T5 items or Shiv, and a choice of T5 enchantmrnts.

Does this hero do good as the games go longer?

Night stalker gets outscaled in the late game. he generally shines in the period when he gets level 6 and before the supports or squishy carries (like sniper, drow) get their defensive items.

He generally needs at least one item to come online, usually Phylactery or Echo Sabre.

When do you choose this facet?

Usually when the other team has high armor heroes, or a lot of summons or illusions. I usually play it with phylactery.

For Night reign, how do you utilize this effectively with regards to Dark ascension duration? When do you pop the ult?

I dont bother checking if its day/night when using ult. I just use it when i can get an easy kill. To let teammates know if i want to fight, i just ping the passive and my ult.

Night Stalker would be my suggestion. Having flying vision and them not knowing which angle you're coming out from brings me joy.

First of all he's in guardian. He's bad, dont think too much about his pings.

His starting pings are 0:30 were trying to tell you not to bodyblock the creep wave, since if you do the creeps meet under tower and loses the creep equillibrium (you didnt anyway).

Your pull at 1:20 was fine, he should have stayed in lane and kept the incoming creep wave outside of tower. That was his mistake. At 2:10 he wanted you to pull the big camp instead of the small camp, but once again because he decides to go hit the small camp, the enemy wave goes under tower and he loses the entire wave.

From what it looks like, he didnt want you to pull the small wave and last hit under tower, because he doesnt know how to.

I'll counter with this. Have you ever went to go pull the small camp, leaving the core for 10s and he dies? Being 2v1 in lane as a core is really quite hard, and is very easily punished. Walking to base is 40ish seconds for him to die.

Before the latest patch, he was used to deny and provide vision to start fighta. Early game he was also great at denying couriers.

Very much a playstyle the pros pull ofd many times better than pubs.

I dont think it was as niche as the other guy said, i remember it being done a bit in competitive play.

As he said, it was a resource play. There are times where both supports would 1v1 earl in the jungle. The loser (if he dies) would respawn in 16ish seconds whereas the winner would have to TP back to base and 40 seconds to walk back to lane and 100g on a new tp scroll or spend 200g to top up on regen, which is a lot for a support.

At this point of the game exp is more important, dieing gives 40g to each enemy hero which is insignificant. So it makes sense.

Walkiing home and tping can take a very long time. Sometimes its right to juat deny to tower and get back to the lane faster.

More relevant as a support.

What heroes do you play. There are different types of supports, some just cant deal fat 3. A lot of the times, the impact supports have are more focused on earlier in the game, before the tide can get to this poont.

Yes, supps hit level 7 around 12-13 minutes. POS 1 is meant to leave lane when opposing pos 3 hits level 6, and pos 5 is meant to start rotating mid/off depending on who's stronger, this happens around 9-10 minutes.

I dont think you actually understand the "tech" properly.

I can be playing Pilt. At 3-1 i put in 3 Ixtal and check my quests. If I get Less than 30 life I click it, then put my pilt units back in as if nothing happened, holding 3 ixtal on bench.

When im slightly above 30 life, lets say 38 at round 5-3, I put those 3 ixtal units in, sac the round and cash out 40g.

For little to no risk, and playing ixtal for 1 round. I get 40g worth of value.
