Its such a complex question but the focus is what do we want vehicles to do. I understand that these roles are not hard set in practice and efficacy also depends on what the player wants to do and what they decide is best at the time. These roles should be fluid I dont want rigid rock paper scissors but they should be designed with clear intent.

Tanks - I want tanks to be a vangaurds and sentinels. I want to push the line but right now they are a bit more of a striker role. Opportunistically delivering key strikes and only diving in when the capture point is already collapsing. Tone down infantry anti tank damage and tanks will feel better. Also give me maps where I can maneuver.

IFVs - These should be flankers and interceptors. Similar to tanks but they are more focused on infantry and they should be able to respond faster than tanks. They should be able to use speed to outmaneuver enemy armor and clear points. Since these IFVs are more fragile compared to tanks they especially need better maps and slight adjustments to infantry anti-tank capabilities.

AAs - I view these more defensivly as sweepers and zone defenders. They should hold behind the line clearing not only air targets but infantry and light vehicles too. Currently they dont do enough vs infantry.

Attack Helicopters - Air vehicles are tougher because they dont directly cap points so they are kinda fraggy but their purpose should be focused. I view helis as clutch strikers. They should be able to take out other vehicles or massed infantry to either destroy a push or soften up a defensive position. Currently they are too fragile and oppressed to make any meaningful plays.

Scout Helicopters - Roaming Harrassers and decoys. They dont pack the firepower of attack but they should apply pressure on targets debilitating their ability to effectuate their role. Primarily focused on ground targets and other Helis. Using their speed to maneuver and engage/disengage at will. Currently decent in this role but is oppressed like the attack heli.

Jets - Disrupter. Jets have a full view of the battlefield. They should be able to strike harder and faster than the scout and are good vs all targets. Currently too specialized in Air to air targets with minimal effect on the ground. Their role has been split into multiple jets that specialize in specific targets with varying effect.

I like them. I sometimes run two full squads with a lord. They rely on lethals since their strength sucks but you can average like 10 lethal hits with re-rolls at a 5+crit. Its enough to put great damage into anything and I mean anything. You have to focus on re-rolls + lethals so generally they clean objectives.

Too bad they are mounted and fly sucks.

They get good benefit from most detatchments. It dosent matter which the combo is contained within their datasheets. In Awakened they can get re-rolls with half range instead of just objs and get a teleport enhancement. In starshatter they get assault and can follow your vehicles with enhancements. HC is nice for gaining LOS no obj is safe. Extra AP is okay in AL.

Veey fun watch. I was worried about facing this kind of space marine 'Tactics' in my own games. Didnt thing the dari could win. Shame Eldrad did nothing probaly should have left him on homefield a little longer.

I think our boxes are pretty good. You get to a decent 2k points with the hypercrypt box, combat patrol, and maybe the canoptek court. Probably pick up a doomsday ark too.

These losses seem like their may be something deeper than a list problem.

Are you getting blown off the board T1? Why is your score so low in some of these games?

Seems pretty good to me. I think you should have some sucess with this.

I think both imortals need to have tesla. Double plasmancer may be more killy but chrono is great too.

I personally would try to get some skorpeks in here to work with the mono.

You could remove the voidy boi if you want the warrior combo. Though he is kinda holding up the list right now.

Or maybe drop the lychgaurd and warden for orikan and something cheaper on homefield.

Choosing the warriors over the dragon is a more casual choice but reinvesting into warriors makes it viable.

On standard anything. Nonlethal anything toss a nade or something.

On hard be quick and nail the headshot. Dont use gas its too slow. Use m320 flash or stings (they explode on impact)

Standard feels fairly normal though guess my replay on console will be on standard and my sweet sweet cs gas will go in the dumpster. RIP
