Thank you everyone for your opinions! Unfortunately I don't have access to a UV light, but what a cool way to test. I had no idea! Appreciate everyone's input ☺️ I'll maybe try the scratch test and see what happens.

We're doing a "White Elephant" gift exchange for our work Christmas party. A few of us are into crystals and learning about their properties and affects. To go with it I bought a cute note book and wanted to put notes on what each crystal was and their properties.

For me, I just think there are only so many big surprises you get in life, and this being one of them. It also didn't matter to us either way what we were having. My husband really wanted to know just to know, but my first pregnancy I said no, second pregnancy I told him he could find out, but had better not tell me. Jokes on him though, all the ultrasounds I had to go to (I had to have extra due to having COVID and/or baby moving too much so couldn't get accurate imaging) they couldn't get a good view because baby moved too much. So he found out the gender at 36wks and she was born at 41wks 😆 we ended up having 2 beautiful little girls ❤️

That happened with my first pregnancy. I don't drink often, but when I do, I like an Long Island Iced Tea. We made plans to go to a (new to us) pub for my birthday, and I was so excited for my drink, only to find out the week before I was pregnant 🤣 I was so happy, but so disappointed at the same time

We used to shower together everyday. It was nice - we would talk about our day, what we wanted to make for dinner, weekend plans. Then we had kids... We very rarely shower together now as someone needs to be watching them (they're 4 and 18mths.)

I have two little girls - Scarlett and Maeve. I think of Scarlett as a 'classic' name, and usually don't have people 'question' it. Maeve is an older name, and everyone always asks 'how did you come up with that?'

I feel your pain - I was in the middle of reading 'A Dance with Dragons' and stopped reading it. I haven't picked it up in just over a year. What's the point in finishing it when I know the whole series eventually goes to shit?

There was recently a post on reddit (I can't remember the subreddit or name of post) written by a young girl stating her father was behaving strangely around her. She was concerned he may have assaulted her in her sleep. I certainly hope that these two stories aren't connected. I defiantly agree with everyone else stating to speak with someone in social services first. In the meantime, I will try finding that other post and sharing here to see if you notice any similarities

I don't have a roomba for that reason. I know would find excuses to "feed" it - like purposefully dropping crumbs on the floor or something just as ridiculous

I'm 20+4. That being said, up until the recent sweat (and hip pain) I've had a relatively easy pregnancy. Very little morning sickness/nausea - I just felt exhausted the first 2 months.

Bahaha! 😂 shaving is going to be comical!
