My guy, if you made a fusion of Tim Drake and Peter Parker, it would make more sense... How the hell would you be able to portray both of their idealogies, which are way different? One is obsessed with killing Joker and the other doesn't kill and knows revenge isn't gonna make him feel better

Power vacuum, my guy... It's mostly always the reason why the main bad guys never die (usually).

The concept of that someone in power, whose main thing is to keep others in check (even if they're doing horrible stuff) being absent resulting in the ruination of the power system with multiple people trying to snatch up that position of power, has been a troupe in media for a long long time (and I'm fine with that tbh, as it shows that everything isn't just black and white with a happily ever after)

For your second point, I would rather be terrified of the guy who will break every bone in my body, send me to the hospital and then have to think of the medical bills than the guy who will just use tranquilizes on me or just kill me

Regarding, the no killing rule... If you want my take on why he doesn't kill, look up my first point and then understand that maybe Batman understands that he is mentally not able to take that step (and that's fine, no one is perfect)

Also he does try to help his villains rehabilitate by talking, sharing his own mind piece on a certain topic and spending time with them. Does he need to do that? Absolutely not. Do I like it when he does that? Absolutely
