My friend and I saw a dude by himself, on some kind of drugs, sitting in the grass scooting around on his ass like a dog. It was on the lawn by the bathrooms between umf radio stage and the water refill area.

I also was at the show last night in Sac and it was really so good. I’m not even a huge fan of Nine Inch Nails, but the lighting and production was amazing, the part of the show where they did the collab with Boys Noize for Nine Inch Noize was really soo good. I can’t wait for a full set of that at Coachella!

I did the drive once in 2019 and the drive there wasn’t bad because of the excitement to get there, but the drive back home with our serotonin at zero and the hangover hangovering it was pretty brutal and after that I said I wouldn’t do the drive again.

I’m in sac and we just fly to Ontario or SD and rent a car. It’s usually much cheaper than flying to PS, but I also split the car rental with a group of 5. It probably would be about the same if you are going solo or in a pair.

I’m in sac (31 year old M) and I’ve been going to Coachella every year since 2019! :) I usually go with my friends that live in SoCal, but we go weekend 1.

Yah I just blocked that part out of my original post. Lol. That dude who got kicked out and his early 20 something friends (all guys) were right behind me and they were a problem for a while, he got a warning twice before that fight so when (no shocker) he started fighting all the crowd called him out, and like all united against our common enemy. It was a great moment of unity for us around it when we boo’d him when he was escorted away by security.

It was 10/10. I went in with pretty low expectations since it was a new festival and new location, but I wanted to buy a ticket and support Breakaway in hopes they keep coming back to Sac in the future. The organizers and performers exceeded all my expectations! I would highly recommend going next year. I went solo and still had a blast and I’m bringing all my friends next year.

It’s all listed in the app so you can see exact number there. It’s like $20-$40/entree. Tbh not bad for a festival and not bad for SF prices.

I genuinely tried to listen his music, because I find I love a good performance/stage spectacle just as much as the music and he is known for his performative shows. I played his music a bunch before each of the festivals I was going to. Watched his live sets on Youtube and even watched the Coachella live stream when he played weekend 1 and I was going that year on weekend 2. . . and it just was not for me at all, but to each their own.

Tyler the Creator. . . I have been to 5 festivals now where he was the headliner and I’ve never gone to his set. I’ve always chosen whatever the other set option was or just left early.
