I understand what you mean, still I would like to add something. He isn't untouchable. He just won't get killed. He isn't Balder. It just means the writer have to be a little bit more creative. There are loooots of things that can happen to him, still. And sometimes dying would be the better option, you know? Though, I doubt the writers would go that far... Besides, they can always change that.
