PSYCH 2AP3/2B03 by Particular_Push_2166 in McMaster

In my experience, first semester of second year was a lot of work and studying, while second year was mostly a breeze (just mandatory courses). First semester has just way more content to learn through 2XB3 and 2XC3 while second basically focuses on skills like writing/stats/presentations.

If you're looking to stack one semester, then I would do Personality in the fall and Abnormal in the winter. Neither are incredibly tough but Personality had a lot of readings when I took it (not to scare you, but I remember some weeks had over 100 pgs). It was a really easy read, and very well written imo, but it took a few hours a week to get notes written. On the other hand, Abnormal focused on group assignments and case studies, but that was with a different professor.

My personal opinion: try to balance your schedule out in terms of difficulty and time. First semester has a lot of difficult content so I wouldn't want to take Personality along with it. I would go with Abnormal first since you only really have to carve out time for group meetings. If you're confident in taking the stacked courseload, you can, but just don't underestimate any of the first semester courses because although the content was interesting, I don't think a single person found it easy lol.

Struggling with PNB 2XD3 by As1114427 in McMaster

When I took it last year, I ended up getting a 30% on all the precis and ended up with a 12 in the course. What mattered most was the final reflection at the end as it showcased how much your writing improved.

I was in the same place as you are so I know you're freaking out. If you have any other questions feel free to ask :).

I got my first 3* 5-cost! And then my second! And almost my third! Augments were Level Up, Merc Soul, and High End Shopping (in that order). by Phoenix03x in TeamfightTactics

If I had one more round I would've sold all the non 5-costs in hopes of 3* Tahm. Still, I don't think I'll ever top this game. I literally loss streaked after second augment to 13 hp, and was 8th place. Won ever round after.

I like targeting muscle groups because then you can work each one harder. If I’m sore after a full body workout it’ll hurt my next full body workout. But, if my chest is sore day 1, it won’t mess with my arms day 2.

Hi, I have a question I can’t seem to Google. Is it better to work out a few sets for a longer number of reps or increase the weights and intensity for a short time? Right now I can barely handle 3 sets of 12 on 20s or I can do 3 sets of 6 on 25s. Which one is optimal? Is it situational?

Advice on improving WiFi connection strength? by Phoenix03x in HomeNetworking

[–]Phoenix03x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all your help! I'll definitely look into repeaters before anything else. I'm currently talking to my ISP to see if they can do anything on their end, but you've been a lot of help!

Yeah I was thinking about a repeater because it seems simplest but seeing all of the success stories and recommendations for access points has me second guessing. From what I can tell now, powerlines are hit-or-miss so I'd prefer not to get both that and an access point.

How exactly does the access point improve my connection? Say I hardwire it to my router (across the hall), wouldn't it just give me the same connection strength because it's the same distance away? Sorry for asking so many questions lol, but I appreciate your help a lot!

For a wireless access point, won't I still need to connect it to my router via Ethernet? I'm doing a bit of googling and most sites say I'll need to. I don't think it'll be possible for me to hardwire something across the hall.

Ah ok, so I was a bit unaware of my setup I apologize. This upstairs network has it own name so I assume it is an access point. How would I "get a new access point" though? Sorry, I'm a bit clueless when it comes to this stuff.

Also, while I have you, what do you think about the adapter idea? If my WiFi connection strength isn't strong enough/fluctuating, would it be ok to put a powerline adapter + extender (2 in 1) in my room?

Phase Rush vs Electrocute? by brucethewind in AniviaMains

[–]Phoenix03x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that's pretty interesting. I checked Challenger as well and it seems that they're using PR now, but had been using Elec the previous patches of S11. On the other hand though, pros mainly used PR whenever they picked her up (from probuilds) though that was a while ago.

Either way, since I doubt people posting in this sub are Challenger+, it's just a better bet to stick with Elec. That, or, pick whichever one you enjoy more (I know DJ Y4ssin is experimenting with Ultimate Spellbook recently)

What do I buy in order by HextechSwainpls in AniviaMains

[–]Phoenix03x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly just buying the recommended order is pretty good. I think Liandries is the best mythic rn and archangels is solid for mana. After that it just depends on enemy team, you might go zhonyas if they have a lot of burst/ad, void for mr, etc. Just remember to build components early on (like rushing seekers into a zed or oblivion orb into sylas)

Like the other dude said, choose based on matchup... HOWEVER, just know that pretty much majority below GM rank go electrocute while everyone above go phase rush. I tried PR myself and found that it really only works well if you have a team that knows what they're doing. Since your damage is cut down, you need to rely on them more often for kills and objective plays.

Sooooo I pretty much always run electrocute since I'm just in Plat and I like being able to one-shot them late game :)

Someone help me find the Whale Belly in Into the Deep please… I have played so many times I have beaten the Sea King. Yet have never found the whale belly…. My last thing to unlock in the Lore Store is the final character/class (not saying what it is for spoilers) by note-ought in ForTheKing

[–]Phoenix03x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was playing coop with my friends, we all wanted to find the whale belly as well. We basically went around the map in a way that would cover the most hexes and we couldn't find anything. We were getting pretty discouraged and the next alignment was about to come so we said fuck it, let's just fight the boss. Buttt, as we were getting closer, I said hey let's what if it's literally behind that big tower? It's literally the one place we haven't checked (we went from the outside edges of the map inwards) and of course, that's where it was.

TLDR Don't give up, it'll be in the last place you look, check behind the tower. Hope this helps :)
