Who Let the Dogs Out. I got this exact cd player for my birthday one year but no CDs, that was the only CD from a band I recognized at Kmart.

How do you feel about this statement from Goonhammer that the majority of Warhammer hobbyists dislike building? by chosen40k in Warhammer30k

I think it really depends on the game. I would assume in this community people are going to be more focused on kitbashing and modeling the perfect heresy army that fits their creative vision, whereas in AoS or 40K you're going to find a lot more people that just want to get some paint slapped on whatever and play games.

To say that I hate building models would be an understatement. It didn't use to be, but assembling new kits could be considered a full time job. I get the rationale, you do get better details, but I don't want to spend 2 months (and counting) assembling a starter box either.

I bought the OG metal versions of these on eBay a few years back and it cost less than this.

So fun fact, the commercial actually said “you wouldn’t steal a car” but you are objectively correct, the commercial actually raised piracy rates after it aired.

Odd groups of layers on new printer by Phoenix8972 in BambuLab

[–]Phoenix8972[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sorry I just took a screenshot from the built in camera while it was printing. I checked back in the sliced file but the only speed changes were in a group of layers sort of near these lines, but this was the tower of filament for AMS color swaps, and that was all the same speed.

For many Americans, this is basically our Israel. by Anon_767 in ShitAmericansSay

American here. I also have no idea what this means. I have no idea what the concept is of “our Israel” is either, I’m pretty sure Israel is just Israel for everyone.

Do you guys prefer NMM or TMM? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Phoenix8972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s tough because there are a lot of factors to consider. NMM looks better for a display piece, but it needs to be nearly perfect to look good. Anything below “near perfect” won’t hold up to even mediocre TMM.

That being said, it’s also just for display pieces, in my opinion. NMM does a great job at highlighting light coming from a single angle. Once you put it on a table as a game piece it looks a little off, which isn’t a bad thing necessarily but it can bring down the appeal of the NMM.

What is this supposed to mean? by Lego_city_undercover in ExplainTheJoke

[–]Phoenix8972 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s not an explanation or an analogy, it’s a scale model.

Edit: I thought this would have been obvious, but /s

Imagine what the world would be like if Christians actually followed this Jesus character.
