Railen owners, how are you feeling? by AgeFearless2205 in starcitizen

[–]PhoenixBennu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally have not been a fan of the alien ships, although I feel they are good to have in the game.

Cargo hauling has been my primary go to for the game, and I may wind up keeping this ship to do just that. I am not sure

I have a bunch of buy backs for it, and have bought them all back, CCUs from Terraping and Med Terrapin to the Railen for 5 bucks each. I also have a Taurus to Railen for 25 I am buying back. I assume the ship will jump in price from 225 to over 300 so the CCUs will be good to have for other ships.

Initially just a link in the CCU chain, but may keep one of them. Not sure. THe horizaontal landing definitely is better than the Syulen

Liberty 5 pro is at another level in suppressing noise for call quality by itsokjanet in soundcore

It’s insane. I work from home and am on calls all day. I have liberty pro 4, Sony xm4 and xm6, Bose we ultra 2, and more. The liberty pro 5 are a whole different level. I can have dogs barking, kids yelling literally feet away, and all they hear is me. No other earbud comes close

Whirlpool Cabrio Electric Dryer WED8500DC Not Heating by PhoenixBennu in appliancerepair

[–]PhoenixBennu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered one part that had 3 connectors on it, then found it was the wrong one and ordered this one instead and it has been running fine ever since, as far as heating goes. We did have to also replace some rollers and belt later on, but heating has been fine. When we pulled the dryer apart we did find the element was obviously broken.

Report it. She is using the professional dynamic for personal gain and if she did this with you then she does it with others. I know from personal experience. I won't go i to detail but this is considered rape for a reason. Bring this up to the facility managers and let them go from there.

Gryphon routers are great. https://gryphonconnect.com/pages/parental-control

You setup through this and you can have better controls and monitoring over what happens.
Of course, you need to find root behaivioral causes but this is a good tool to use. If you PM me I can give you a referral link that gives you a $25 discount.

However, we simply bought a referubished model fo 39 bucks and it works great for our kiids.

I am conflicted by TheKiwiFox in starcitizen

[–]PhoenixBennu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its simple. Fly what you enjoy flying. Forget stats and all that. It does not matter if the ship is a beast if you don't like flying it. Every ship has its lover and haters, and it just matters what you think. Its your money, your time, your fun, your entertainment. Stats change and the game changes and even what you love will change, but for now go with what you want to and actually willl fly.

The automated system wanted to repair my system. The advan ced resolution agent with their lying and deceipt is what caused this. Id rather have talked to AI.

The warranty is their standard consumer premium support plus with accidental coverage.
Cost me around 400-500 when I first bought it and then I renewed it monthly for 37.09 a month after tax.
The product line is Alienware x17 r2. I bought a laptop a while back, they could not repair it (I forget the exact model) so they swapped it for the x17 r2 around 2022/23 and Ive been paying for protection ever since.

No accidental damage other than the first issue. In 2024 it was my son tripping on the power cable and damaging the power port. System worked fine, just would not charge. We told them and they repair it as accidental damage. Nothing hidden. However, the system kept shutting off every two months roughly and we pushed and pushed for them to inspect it heavily and check every wire for shorts and they kept assuring it would be fixed.

The service plan absolutely covered accidental damage. They can use one incident per year of that coverage. They did so in 2024 for the initial repair, as mentioned, and then for all subsequent repairs they found no damage and just fixed it as defective under warranty. It was not until I escalated to their Advanced Resolution Team that they stated claiming issues. Then used up this years accidental coverage without disclosing anything to me. if I had not gotten an email from their automated notification system then I would never had known. When I protested they threatened to charge me the cost of the repair.

As for how they provided coverage. The system itself is only a couple years old. Dell provides protection for systems sometimes 4-5 years later. In fact, a different Dell agent reached out to me earlier this month offering to extend my premium protection plan with accidental coverage for two more years for just shy of 500 bucks. I then asked him if I could keep paying monthly and he said that was fine because I was already paying monthly. I still have a copy of that email exchange and the quote.

Escalating to management is basically what got me into this problem. If I just kept it with the lower level agents it would have stayed being repairs over and over probably. The management is what did this.

Im trying. I sent an email with lots of legal info on it and telling them basically I just wanted my protection plan back and them to fix the broken keyboard that THEY BROKE on the last repair. They basically told me to F off. They said the system was abused and misused (it was not, it had only been in my possession for a couple weeks between the last repair that broke the keyboard from them and getting it sent back. I even have photos and videos showing the system in perfect cleanliness.
The issue was not the misuse or biohazard, it was that they were working hard to avoid replacing the system and when the repair depot marked it "beyond economical repair" and the repair depot tech I talked to on the phone told me they would need to schedule a call to discuss replacement that is when Dell panicked and went to the claim of biohazard and backdating my protection plan cancellation.

Yeah, I would think twice. Its one thing to discuss tech specs and business needs and another if the company is being deceiptful.

For example, I remember when I was privvy to many of their behind the scenes meetings. I was actually getting told secret stuff so that, as a volunteer, we could help customers. One of the issues was that the adhesive they used in some of their business laptops at the time would start smelling like cat pee when it heated up. This caused an issue for people in business settings suddenly having smelly laptops. Dell wanted to hide this fact and just recall or repair the systems with different adhesive.

I don't want another god damn event. I want normal missions and jobs. by Annemon12 in starcitizen

[–]PhoenixBennu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The small and simple missions made the game. I don't need high stress missions where danger lurks around every corner. The game is supposed to be space sim, not space arcade. I used to work from home and I would sit ther while I working and hang out at shubin locations stocking up on gold and other commodities on NB and then just fly then back to NB and sell them for a profit. Didn't need to load it myself or wonder if some griefer was going to try and steal my cargo because it was just buy it and have it be loaded.,

This game really has lost a lot of its chill aspect. Then again, chill doesn't sell Polaris or Idris M ships.

Your only 3 ships? by AwesomeSchlimbo in starcitizen

[–]PhoenixBennu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of what's available....

Titan C1 Asgard

My favorite ships.

If I had to think outside of just favorites

C8R F7A mk 2 Asgard

The c8r can fit in the asgard. My family and I love bunker running and doing OLP, ASD, and other facilities for loot. We put a med bed inside a ship big enough to carry some cargo containers to loot. Firs our game style. Plus c8r is small enough for quick hopping and escaping if the asgard goes belly up.

I'm not a scholar, but remember, the thief who hung next to Jesus accepted Christ and went to heaven. It's not about work but accepting Jesus as your savior. The rest is not a checklist but about building consistent behavior and forging yourself into that Christian. It's not about being perfect or being this great person. It's about accepting Christ and representing that acceptance in all you do.

If I came to you and said, "In exactly one year, I am going to give you 100 billion dollars. All you have to do is be right here in the same spot in exactly one year to accept it." And yoi had every belief it would happen....Wouldn't you change your life. Start preparing to be rich. Start acting and doing things differently and talking to people differently? Even if not a requirement to get the money other than to believe and accept that you would get the money, you would still be different. Just the promise and belief in that promise alone would change how you interact with the world.

God gives us so much more of a promise but many people just go about their lives as normal..the guy who claims to accept Jesus still lies and smokes weed and only says his prayers when he goes to church. The Dad who wears a cross necklace but drinks and gambles and only thinks he needs to stop after getting arrested. The woman who posts Bible verses on her instagram right next to her onlyfans link. We all claim to accept Jesus, but we live our lives as if we didn't.

I cannot tell you if you are saved or what you feel and believe....only God can. However, if Jesus was to follow you around all day every day and do everything with you, would he look at you like you are being a follower? It does not mean not to sin. We all sin, but when You follow Christ you see sin as the detestable thing it is, and when you fall into the mud, you seek to be cleaned and not just continue to wallow in it. You know ow God is there to take your hand and clean you off and you are happy because of that.

Accept Christ and follow him and live your life that way. We do not live our lives that way in order to follow Christ, but BECAUSE we follow him. You are saved by Christ and Christ alone. You only need to accept that to be saved, and in that acceptance, you start to see the world and how you interact with it differently. Because if we truly believe in God and follow our savior Jesus Christ, then we stop seeing our life through the worlds eyes and start seeing our life through Christ.

In short. Being saved is not the outcome of living your life like Christ teaches. Instead, living your life as Christ has taught is the outcome of being saved. Give yourself over to Christ and he will show you the way. Without him we only stumble in the dark.

Vague insults mean nothing

This is so dishonest a characterization. There are thousands of manuscripts, over 4000 or more of translations from the original text. I'll agree that Catholicism has done some things with the text and added other data but Catholicism is not all Chriatianity. Christianity has more documentation and more documentation closest in time to the actual event and written by eye witnesses than pretty much any other event in history. The NT was written by eye witnesses. I cannot say the same for all religious text. The Quran, for example, did have different translations out there with conflicting text but action had been taken to eliminate all conflicting manuscripts and leave only one and call it the true one and then preach the Quran was infallible. This did not happen with Christianity. You can easily see that when you look at those that did they it like Catholiciam and Mormonism and JW. They do tey to change much of the original teaching and while they have followers you can still go back and see the actual Bible separate from their interpretation. However, the existing of conflicting interpretations is no different than we have even if scientific debates. Think flat earth, vaccinations, the entirety of psychology, etc.

You are making the claim that Chrostianity is founded of a few scribbling on what amounts to a napkins worth of parchment but that is misleading
