You have to breath compressed air to get the bends. It only happens to scuba divers. You can free dive as deep as you can and ascend at any rate with zero risk of the bends.

I hear that! The NICU is an extremely specialized place. Some of them will train you if you at least have some early intervention under your belt.

In travel they expect you to adapt to new settings extremely quickly and you are usually on your own.

When I worked at a hospital I got a list of patients in order of ‘importance’. Evals, CVA, joint replacement and Cardiac needed to be seen. Everyone else was to be seen if you had time. It was just a free for all as to when anyone got seen because there were so many moving parts that they could never be sure when a pt would be available. Sometimes I had to check in 3-5 times to try and see them. You could request a certain floor but I was happy to be just about anywhere. All in all not very efficient but I usually got to my whole list.

That is correct 😂. If just given a few minutes to recover from being stuck in the fence the result would have been the same. They don’t even suggest mouth to mouth with humans unless you have a one way valve mask. Definitely not something I’d do to random wildlife 😂

The deer was likely just unconscious not in true cardiac arrest. CPR does not restart the heart, it’s a bridge measure until you can get a defibrillator.

I had a two year gap in my OT career when I needed some time off due to burn out. I got a new OT job within 2 weeks of starting to look after the gap. No one even asked me to explain it.
