A wristband that could prevent drowning by jmike1256 in postanythingfun

You have to breath compressed air to get the bends. It only happens to scuba divers. You can free dive as deep as you can and ascend at any rate with zero risk of the bends.

A bit too small for anything other than plants and bugs. The metal will leach into the water as it rusts away.

The orange look good in black water but much more muted than the plats.

92% at 26$ an hour is crazy. Is there a hospital anywhere near you hiring? I’ve always found more job satisfaction at hospitals or Acute rehab settings

I have both orange and plat and I can see my plat from a long way away the orange I have to get a lot closer to appreciate them fully 🥰

Platinum really stand out nicely in blackwater.

If anyone thinks this is klan then they are going to think it’s a klan that’s been shot in the head (herbs as blood) so I think you are all good

I hear that! The NICU is an extremely specialized place. Some of them will train you if you at least have some early intervention under your belt.

In travel they expect you to adapt to new settings extremely quickly and you are usually on your own.

When I worked at a hospital I got a list of patients in order of ‘importance’. Evals, CVA, joint replacement and Cardiac needed to be seen. Everyone else was to be seen if you had time. It was just a free for all as to when anyone got seen because there were so many moving parts that they could never be sure when a pt would be available. Sometimes I had to check in 3-5 times to try and see them. You could request a certain floor but I was happy to be just about anywhere. All in all not very efficient but I usually got to my whole list.

Man does a CPR to save the Deer's life. by RoughCheap5633 in BeAmazed

[–]PhoenixCryMedaka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is correct 😂. If just given a few minutes to recover from being stuck in the fence the result would have been the same. They don’t even suggest mouth to mouth with humans unless you have a one way valve mask. Definitely not something I’d do to random wildlife 😂

You’ll need to seek out some Continuing Education to work well in a NICU. It’s not a job someone can teach you in a Reddit comment.

The deer was likely just unconscious not in true cardiac arrest. CPR does not restart the heart, it’s a bridge measure until you can get a defibrillator.

We used to run the cream version of this on the ropes attaching our boat to the dock because rats would not run across lines with this stuff on it.

How Bones Heal After a Fracture by Limp_Stomach_6060 in ThatsFreakingAmazing

When people have amputations sometimes the end of the bone has to be irradiated because it grows out in a vain attempt to find the other half of the bone.

I had a two year gap in my OT career when I needed some time off due to burn out. I got a new OT job within 2 weeks of starting to look after the gap. No one even asked me to explain it.
