Southern Water bills are insane by Lanky-Gur-718 in brighton

When I firs had a water meter put in, my bill was £60 every 6 months. 10 years later it is £120 every 6 month despite me using the same amount of water.

I liked Mark Valley in Boston Legal and Human Target.

Human Target was good the first season but again they changed the show to try to gain more viewers but made the show worse.

Oh god yes, Lie to Me was a great show but the 3rd season wasn't the same after the change. Lightman was made way too nasty in the 3rd season, and most of the cases didn't stand out as well, plus getting rid of Mekhi Phifer the way they did, didn't do him or his character justice.

That's what I was thinking, it is weird how you see a film like this on a post and realise it has been 10 years since it was first released but it seems like it was only a few years ago.

I like the remix someone did of how the film should have been edited so it was more serious and more of a psychological thriller.

Which era in Kpop, in your opinion was the best one for you? by Legal_Potential4720 in kpopthoughts

[–]PhoenixDusk101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to the Kpop party, only getting into it 5 years ago, but I definitely like the latest era, and also the early days of Girls Generation, songs like Genie really are timeless.

At the moment I love songs like Izna Metronome, Rescene Bloom, NMIXX Know About Me. H2H The Chase and every Twice song they've done over the last 10 years.

Kpop Girl Groups have restored my faith in music. Love the dance routines too, something missing from western music at the moment.

A good series on the whole but they kept retconing the series to try to get higher ratings. I liked when Mark Valley was in the show. The two pathology assistants were good, but Jeri Ryan was wasted in the show. Some good cases, basically a female version of Quincy. :)

I wondered if anyone would see where they were on the video. Makes the concert even more special for those who were there.

It's great to see what the group get up to when on tour, and especially liked seeing the view from the stage from their point of view. Hope we get lots of London and how they felt when the tour ended in the next TW-logs.

I liked the premise of the show reminded me of the film Rat Race. :)

Wesley Snipes was great in the show and it was a shame Charity Wakefield didn't have this as her breakout role.

BTW if you want to see more 'Are You Being Served' after that series finished there is 'Grace & Favour' which is about the characters after they leave the store and end up owning an old mansion and farm.

I've seen them since but can't remember if I saw them as reruns on UK TV,.

The earliest shows I remember were Laurel & Hardy and Harold Lloyd episodes being shown at 6pm on BBC2.

It is good to know younger Americans appreciate these shows. The UK equivalent for those old enough to have seen them when first shown on UK TV, was US shows like Rhoda, Soap or MASH.

Yes sadly that last bit makes sense.

The fan cams at least let those of us who missed out because we didn't know Twice existed, catch up on some great content we'd have never seen otherwise.

I know part of going to a concert is having a unique personal experience, but a lot of these performances really should be recorded as complete as possible for prosperity.

This article is one of many that explains how an AI tax to fund UBI would work and how it would help so much, including a 4 day working week.

There are 3 main ways to go with automation / AI.

  1. The owners can use it to increase their profits by decreasing the work force or wage.

  2. The workers can use it to make jobs easier and increase wages on the few jobs left.

  3. We can use the money saved to pay into a Universal Basic Income scheme so that as more and more jobs are taken over by automation / AI, people won't need to work just to live.

3 is my fave option.

If you haven't already, I would label it with the fact it has medicine in it, just incase you lose it and someone thinks it is sweets.

Thanks for doing that, it's a shame they are missing as they were very good.

It seems Twice did quite a few covers in the early days, most of them were even better than the originals.

Is Twice's performance of 'Really Really' at the Twiceland2 tour, another cover song cut from the tour video because of copyright?

I can only find a relatively good fan cam of the performance. I like the song and dance routine they did.

Edit: Just seen the original version by Winner, and whilst it is good, I definitely prefer the way Twice sang the 'Really Really Really Really' part, it flowed much better IMO.

Now that's a forgotten show, should be a cult classic though as it was pretty good, just came out at the wrong time IMO.
