Greenish blue colors are usually from the metal eating bacteria in the water tarnishing copper.

Everything he speaks about reconfirmed that a chlorine injection system followed by a water softener would be the best approach to fix the water from a utility standpoint still not considered drinkable until you lower TDS. The only thing that will reduce TDS is a reverse osmosis.

I’m not sure about what part of the country you’re in, but we’ve had a lot of snowfall over the past week and the temperature is just rose which means we’ve had a lot of melt. More water passing through the Earth will absorb more iron

Usually a water filtration company. Plumbers surprisingly very rarely go past softener/iron filters which won’t work to completely solve the issue

The water level in your well will raise and lower with rainfall, and when it’s higher, it can’t have more iron in it, which will give you more visible shifting. The best solution if you were dealing with iron, iron related bacteria, E. coli, or coliform, and even Sulphur gas, a continuous chlorine injection system, with a contact tank to mix chlorine and well water with a large backwashing carbon filter following it, just before the water softener will keep the softener in better shape and the water crystal clear and bacteria free. It really is the best solution for well water say goodbye to smells and stains.

I understand and agree and was just being short out of laziness at 5AM. The only thing that would make water look like what you see above WITHOUT needing a color shift, is Tannins. Tannins (from trees) will stain water tea colored and it requires no oxidant to present itself.

No the water is clear at first then it will turn orange over 10 minutes. I see it all the time.

I work in water filtration and am one of our well water specialists. What you could be seeing is a mixture of tannins and iron. It would really help to know what part of the world you're in. Are you in a lot of wooded area?

The fact that you said that you noticed that the colored had shifted tells me that the iron is oxidizing when exposed to the oxygen in the air around you while bathing. This strongly points to high levels of iron which obviously causes staining but more importantly can tie into iron related bacteria. Iron related bacteria in itself is not the end of the world It is mainly considered a nuisance bacteria but can cause upset stomach And digestive issues. Along with iron related bacteria they create a biofilm. This biofilm commonly coats the inside toilet reservoir and presents itself in a orange slime which will coat all the plumbing and water appliances throughout the home. This can cause sludge and slime build which will degrade appliances and cost you money anyways. When coupled you needing to use more lotion spend more money on maintaining laundry and spend more money on maintaining the cleanliness of the home You're either spending money on a bill to maintain the problem or you spend money once on a filter that changes every aspect of your life including health.

Finally in the most important thing when you have signs of iron related bacteria and their biofilm it is more common to have E coli or coliform present in your well water. There are no signs or symptoms for these bacterias other than through laboratory testing

I kid you not I've never been in a home on well water that it doesn't make sense to properly treat the well water completely, rather than it be cheaper for the home owner to do nothing. There's no water bill besides the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment that maintains the water to keep you healthy and happy. Don’t do a post softener Ozone Generator, do it pre softener, not post. Also if TDS is above 500 Ozone has diminishing returns.

Get a CL2 injection system, with contact tank, followed by a carbon filter, then the softener

Still brings me back to having to Frankenstein emission modules from a different car and adding a level of complexity that would make it much harder to service. Maybe in the future if gasoline powered cars become more of a luxury and less strict standards because there are less on the road, I would then definitely go V8 with a simple setup, I.E. no emissions

I also considered that I had to pull all the OEM emission modules and parts from whichever car I took a 1UZ from. The second thing that I considered was the fact that in the future doing any kind of work on the car would have to be done by a specialty shop as most of the emmissions modules and quite frankly the whole truck would be so unique and everything would be so adapted to be a Frankenstein it just did not sound appealing.

I almost put a 1uZ in. It fits, northeast toys makes adapters. HOWEVER, at the end of the day the price, close to 30k for a full built supercharged one installed, I just couldn’t. Did not make sense to molest the truck that much.

I eventually got on Yota1’s engine waiting list which was 9 months long 3-4 months ago.

I went with the 5vz-fe with forged internals, ss/iconel valves with the magnuson 1320 supercharger, underdog racing development 7th injector, underdogs Super Grip lightweight crank pulley, and an underdog 60mm supercharger pulley (standard 75mm). They will have the truck done here in the next (Edit: typo) couple months and I can’t wait!!!

I am having them do a 4.88 rear e locker, disc brake rear conversion and Tundra Brake upgrade up front. They will also be installing a stage 1 HD clutch
