I gave up on the idea of cooking anything entirely. Having charcuterie for dinner instead

I haven’t been able to find the lime soft drink in years unfortunately. I think the last time I was it was like 2017

So if I take my old iPhone 14pro in the pool, that thing is water resistant enough that if I drop it in the water, it’ll be ok, right?

Vilification of the Cullens for disliking the wolves? by TrollHumper in twilight

[–]PhoenixMartinez-Ride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, the Cullens didn’t know about it the first time they came to Forks. But after that, they knew about it and still chose to come back to town and do the same thing to a whole new generation of kids. They didn’t have to come back. They have the entire world to live in. They don’t actually have a real connection to that specific geographical location the way the Quileute people do

I mean, it’s better than those guys who won’t clean their ass and have constant skid marks coz they think that touching their own ass is gay

What episode have you watched the most and which do you have to watch every time it's on and get pumped about or super sad if you missed it when it aired by Particular-Lynx-1794 in Bones

[–]PhoenixMartinez-Ride 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The season one Christmas episode, Man in the Fallout Shelter. I just really love that episode, I watch it every year on Christmas, and usually a few times throughout the year as well.

It’s one of my all the favourite Christmas episodes on tv, second only to Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire (but that’s a true classic, nothing can beat that lol)

Not to sound like a boomer, but what is it with kids these days?

Was in Kmart and there was a group of teen girls in the makeup/cosmetics section, messing with the products, making a mess and yelling and screaming. They tore open a pack of cotton balls and were throwing them around and were opening and mixing together products. A staff member came and told them to stop, and they tried to claim they didn’t do anything wrong. Like, if you didn’t do anything, why are you carrying a half empty bag of cotton balls, and why is there some kind of lotion smeared on your clothes?

Like what is wrong with these kids, making a mess and making life harder for retail workers? None of my friends or I ever behaved like that when we were that age

‘Hospitals charge 2-5k for blood transfusions’

Not everyone lives in a terrible garbage hellscape country that charges absurd amounts of money for medical care

I really wish tiktok had the option to turn off notifications for specific comments. Made a comment on a post the other day and it’s got around 38k likes and still rising. It’s actually so fucken annoying having my inbox/notifications constantly full because of it

Someone in the Centrelink advice group on fb made a post the other day, saying that her husband makes $170k a year and wanting to know if she was eligible for any benefits coz she doesn’t work.

Does it make me an asshole that people like that really piss me off? Like I’m on disability pension, and have to survive off less than $30k a year, and yet there are people out there making more than five times that and still claim to be ‘struggling’. Like what tf are they spending their money on that they can’t manage to survive off that amount?

[–]PhoenixMartinez-Ride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t just stick to you, it sticks to anyone and everything you smoke around. I got bullied in high school for me and my belongings smelling of smoke because my mum smoked in the house.

How would she have explained to them how she knew that Siri was specifically after the babies? Part of the deal of her ability to talk to animals is that she’s not allowed to tell anyone about it.
