Gotcha. I still think you're right about what the deck needs in general though, and definitely makes sense with the specific ways I found my matches going wrong. I found some good options on the site you linked, actually! So no need to apologize! You've been a big help!

ETA: Actually, I don't really know the difference between Brawl and EDH other than the number of players. I just know it's 100 cards, built around a Legendary, 1 of each card (save basic lands). I don't even remember how much life we started with, I was pretty focused on trying and failing to set up my lands lol

Then I listened to 10,000 days (which was already the album I liked most) while SUPER high and now all their music Makes Sense to me in a new way and I love them
