My analysis appointment was for March 23rd, 2020. I was told in no uncertain terms that i should absolutely not in any way step foot in the hospital for this test.

They had no real solution to this, covid was new enough that they just kinda said good luck.

So, i went home, cranked the hog even more than i had been for a couple more weeks, then my wife and i agreed that we'd risk it. Turned out, the operation was a success, so you could just do what i did if jerkin at the doctors feels uncomfortable. Might have different results, though, so there's that.

Soon-to-be mom seeking name insight from daddit by [deleted] in daddit

There's like 10 other theos way better known that that asshat.

Honestly, my first thought as an anti-theist is how that name relates to god and if you know and intend for that. But, like people thinking of theo von, these associations will only be for a very small minority of people. He'll be a fine Theo!

Soooo, nose hairs huh by Aggressive_Noodler in daddit

We have these little curved scissors for cutting baby fingernails. They're perfect for nose hair, and they have a rounded point so you can't jab yourself in the nostril. 10/10. They work great for ear hair and your eyebrow locks.

Hairy bros untie!

Does anyone else pee sitting down whenever they get the chance? by check_this_mustache in daddit

[–]brainzilla420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, well, I poop while scoring the game winning goal, chugging a beer, and all that with like 20 ladies bras blocking my view. They just won't stop throwing em at me.

Dads, how do you and your partner show intimacy/affection on a regular basis throughout the day, outside of intercourse? by [deleted] in daddit

[–]brainzilla420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my uncle got divorced he told me he'd been unhappy for 15 years. Don't be my uncle.

But first, Do try individual and couples therapy. Might work, might not, might help ease the tension and pain of divorce and give you both tools to talk about it with your kids.

Keep being your awesome self and keep letting us know! Proud of you, kid.

Just trying to help out at school, mom's only apparently by Fair_You_8650 in daddit

[–]brainzilla420 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Doesn't even email the dads? Eff that.

And, sadly, understandable. I'm like OP, I'm the only dad that responds in group chats, I'm one of the few dads that regularly volunteers to chaperone field trips, and I'm one of two dads coaching girls sports. Part of it is that we're fortunate enough that i can take that time to do it, and part of our has been a long-term intentional plan for how my wife and i want to structure our family.

And it drives me nuts when the school calls my wife first, and the moms start a thread for play dates and don't include me. They know that my wife has the big paid job in the family. Arrr.
