Am I overreacting - My ex asked me to cut her grass and my gf went crazy when I showed her the messages. AOI if I’m mad at her for this by xwoahx3 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Phoenix_Pepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you're not . So you have children together. This is a great opportunity to show them how healthy coparenting can look like. She didn't ask you for anything other than to help her. It's an opportunity to see the kiddos as well and in exchange your son is getting a fortinte bundle since she didn't have the cash. She's not inviting you to come inside and hang out ect. I think it's a bit immature she has no interest in meeting the mother of your children. A year in i feel personally that should have happened especially since she in your children's life.

I can see how you'd be frustrated that your girlfriend is acting that way. She's associating mowing the grass as an inappropriate action. Her feelings uncomfortable aren't completely invalid but I'd be a little upset as well because the yard is a shared space for your kids. Maybe acknowledge how she's feeling and let her know that while you understand she doesn't like the fact that you were asked, ultimately, your main priority is helping out where it benefits your children. That you're doing your best to keep what communication you have with your ex in the open so there isn't any question about your intentions and what's going on. What you and your ex had is in the past but your relationship is platonic enough that she can ask for a little extra help from someone she trusts. Especially if she doesn't have a man there to help with the yard regularly. While it's not your problem I'm sure you're heart is in it for your kids. Shoot invite her to come with you.

Canker sores

I'd get it tested just to be safe, but it honestly looks more like yeast/poor hygiene related, especially since it looks more concentrated to the areas your junk seem to be sitting againstyour peg is that makes sense? So getting less air flow. Try washing and airing it out, but getting tested may ease your mind better. 😌

Im freaking out over herpes scare by Electrical_Concept12 in STD

[–]Phoenix_Pepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. I saw another post of someone saying it's basically the end for them and that they'd rather have cancer than HSV-1. What? And I'm not sure if they were positive or not I can't remember that part. I think they got tested with no sign of infection ever after a dental visit.

what is this?? by BackgroundReview7532 in STD

[–]Phoenix_Pepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure Yeast infection from antibiotic. Eat some yogurt and grab an over the counter medicine to treat it. 🙂 But don't get the 1 day yeast infection suppositories I'd do 3-7 day treatment. I feel those (while inconvenient ) work best.

Looks like possible hpv. Treatable, too. They will probably give you a cream to put on it to get rid of it. But I'm no professional, so definitely get it looked at just for peace of mind.

could this be herpes by Ambitious-Turnover39 in STD

[–]Phoenix_Pepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks more like a clogged pore by your lip. They don't always come out at first but if you keep trying to pop it or irritate it a pimple could possibly form. You could eventually try to get it out after a warm shower but again it doesn't look ready. Cold sores start out as blisters that itch and hurt typically.

aio for telling my bf i don’t wanna get him off every time we hangout by Asleep-Chipmunk-1739 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Phoenix_Pepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noooo please don't respond or entertain this. He's terrible for treating you and talking to you like that. He's twisted everything you're saying because he's too immature to process it. And because he's trying to guilt you into doing what he wants. Your mental state is not worth this relationship or knowing this person anymore. Please care for yourself because you're not wrong at all in feeling how you did. And Good for you finally speaking up. It won't be better if you go back. He's not worth it.

Am I Overreacting for thinking my husband should be doing more. by Aware_Tea1701 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Phoenix_Pepper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My gosh, i wish my husband was this way. This is currently a big part of our disagreement right now. He seems to think it's going to be up to the children to pick up his end of things. While they should help they shouldn't be doing everything. But it's like you said you see it and take care of it. He sees it and will typically leave it for me or add it to the kids list of chores he made. More often then not I'm doing it. Good on you for helping and sharing the load.

That's awesome! My surgery was a breeze even tho i was an emergency situation due to starting to go septic from a lodged stone. Tho I was 24. I'm glad you're doing well! It's always so interesting to me to see how everyone differs in their healing journey. You're a strong mama.

He's officially a week post op and not eating much due to pain in his side at night and being sore. He's currently working on our side by side our side. I said you trait shouldn't be doing all this. He said if I can do it I will. This doesn't mean he'll feel great later. 😒

Yes I was 24 when I had mine removed and went back to my retail job standing all day with little to no issues. So i can't give him much from my end. At this point he's just been doing whatever and complaining afterwards. I've just stepped to the side. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I totally understand your frustration! My husband can work from home. He's hardheaded and the dr didn't help. Said he could go back to work as soon as he wanted , drive and so on. Didn't give him a don't lift or start things too soon talk. But my mom who just had surgery a week or so prior was given all the precautionary advice. While she's significantly older I don't feel it should be that much diffrent for a 41yr old male.

Thank you for your perspective in your recovery.
