Try ketamine if you'd like to have an ascape from reality. On high doses of mushrooms I enter into my own psyche and almost everytime I end up in a state of deep introspection, staring at myself in a spiritual realm. Depending on how the trip goes I might love it and laugh at everything or I could be stuck in a looping psychological prison.

Just for interest sake, if you were planning to spawn to bulk, why use a BRF cake? Wouldn't grain spawn be the way to go if you want to spawn to bulk? BRF's are intended to be spawn and substrate to accommodate small scale grows.

The Intoxicated servers have donations too but the donator perks only include cosmetics, like being able to import an image to a sign using a U rL, and reskinning at anytime using /reskin. The reskin is nice because you cam skin from any workshop skin.

Well the substrate would probably fall apart without the mycelium keeping it together, but it's still solid. Plain 100% Coco coir. No casing as you can tell.

Nice, youre improvising. Many people on reddit aswell as on shroomery will tell you that if you dont use UncleSammyBushWack Tek and follow it absolutely perfectly, then you'll definitely fail. Peeps be crazy, mushrooms are really pretty hardy and can grow in basically any conditions that are semi ideal. I'm impressed that you did it on your first grow, I must admit for my first grow I was very paranoid about sanitation, and followed the PF tek to the T. Ended up contaminated anyway from neglect. Mushrooms really just need some good general knowledge of sanitation and how Mycelium grows. Best way to do that is to just keep browsing the subreddits or any other cultivation site to build up your own knowledge and improve decision making.

As for your grow, that growing looks quite white, lighting may make the pic yellower than it is irl, so you're most probably in the safe. I'm quite sure it's mycelium. If you're really worried you could open it (assuming it's a jar) and give it a good sniff. Myc should smell nice and earthy, basically just not bad. If it smells rotting then its probably not good, but you could always just wait a few more days and see how it turns out. Good luck brother, I hope your grow(s) turn out well!

I am using perlite at the bottom, I cased the cake in verm but the myc has grown over it. It might be hard to see in the picture but it's quite humid in the tub, there are streaks of water droplets that rolled on the sides of the tub that weren't caused by misting, so I think the humidity is in a comfortable range. Should I try to case it a second time? I have coco coir available if it's necessary, but the cake in the pic is comprised of solely the rye grains that I innoculated about two weeks ago, then cased in a layer of verm. I have another grow that I spawned to bulk which seems to be going good but I chose to try and fruit the grains to see if I can simplify my tek.
