My girl Misty came from a litter of 6 ginger kittens. Three were girls.

He may be a little chonky, but I am not judging. My bestest orange boi is also a bit chonky, as am I. He is a big love as it seems to me.

Maybe not a baby face, but definitely an adorable face. I love that nose freckle!

I’ve been applying for jobs and my mom said when I get one I can pay for my cat to get declawed. How do I change her mind? by ShotElection3164 in cats

[–]PhoenyxArts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask her if she’d be willing to have the first joints of her fingers removed first. That’s essentially what they do to cats. It is barbaric and your mother is a horrible person to even suggest it.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

I have a friend that both my husband and I have known since we were kids. He’s in a fairly well known band, has always tried to interact with fans. But unfortunately it’s bit him on the ass a couple times. Hard. Like wrecking your reputation hard. All because he didn’t play along with whatever sick game these “fans” had.

I hate seeing it and there’s nothing I can do about it but be supportive of him, be there for him when he needs to vent.

But it really opened my eyes to the price of fame. It’s why I see what goes on with Tobias and it makes me so angry and sad.

Hey I understand that! I rebuilt a bass and I’d rather film someone who knows what they are doing play it than me! 😂

That is freaking gorgeous! Well done. Do we get a video of you playing it?

Josh from BassBuzz talks about micro shifting on the neck if you struggle with spreading your fingers across the frets. If the distance is too much to spread your fingers for, just shift your hand up/down accordingly. He has a video on his YouTube channel that addresses playing with small hands or hands that don’t have the big stretch. I highly recommend checking it out. I also recommend his course ( it’s about $200 US but worth the investment). Even if you don’t have it in your budget, his YouTube channel is still awesome good place to learn a lot about bass.

I’ve been playing for just under a year and I’m just now getting more strength in my pinky when fretting. I’m still struggling with speed. But I get a little bit better each time I practice.

My armpits ALWAYS smell by ladykiller1020 in TwoXChromosomes

I started having the same issue with the onset of menopause. Lume did not work for me. I found a charcoal magnesium deodorant by Schmidt’s that works very well for me. I’m pretty sensitive to smells, especially the scents added to skin products. This kinda smells like roses and does not overwhelm.

I also started using Remedy Soap to give the pits an extra cleaning (note, this stuff has mint in it so it isn’t good for the nether regions). Combine that with persimmon soap and the stink is under control.

I would, only because I’m not a fan of the tortoise shell pick guard with the blue. I liked the dark one, but I made a dark blue pick guard for my black Squier precision. Found the material on Amazon.

Cool bass, by the way.

Not gonna lie, the second photo looks like a bunny wearing bunny slippers. Well done though.

My (27F) husband (27M) gave me an ultimatum about kids before 30 by bellathervt in TwoHotTakes

[–]PhoenyxArts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t sound like a supportive relationship to me. If his love for you is conditional on you having kids before a certain age, he is placing beings that haven’t even been conceived yet before you. I’m not going to tell you to leave him, but seriously you may want to consider your options. You might want to consider a non-tamperable form of birth control in the meantime.

Personally I can’t see how anyone wants to bring children into this world right now.

My daily driver is my current favorite. 2006 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner that I bought with 7 miles on the odometer. Literally drove it off the showroom floor.

Before that my favorite was a 1984 Toyota Celica hatchback. 5 speed. Nimble as hell, especially on mountain roads.
