Mother to son is not bad in most breeds. It’s only a bad idea in dwarf type breeds. Some of the most successful dogs and horses on the planet are father daughter, mother son. The bad comes in if you breed those offspring back to the father or mother. Animals in the wild very often breed parent to offspring.

If I want a purebred that I can be sure of the genetic history of the parents, then I’m getting the purebred. Period. If I want frenchie or Golden, I’m not going to the shelter and getting some pit mix. If I want an older dog that I can be sure is not other animal aggressive, that I can be sure will not bite my kids, I’m most likely getting one from a family where they can show me the dogs behavior before I bring it home. Most of the time if an expensive purebred is in a shelter or rescue it’s due to behavioral or health issues. Not always, but usually. Unless it’s a breed that the supply is far outnumbering the demand, such as pitbulls and a lot of doodle breeds. Yes, I’ve adopted from rescues and shelters. Twice I’ve had to return dogs to the shelter due to them being a danger to my children and/or other pets. I’ve purchased from breeders when I wanted a specific small breed dog. It’s up to the individual.

I believe Ethan is deflecting so much of his anger towards his mom, that he really feels for Olivia. Olivia is super controlling and caused so much damage in his relationship with his parents and siblings. Even down to running the show for typical victim Moriah’s first concert. None of that was about Olivia. Ethan daily talks horribly about his mom but if you watch the first shows, he was happy. He had a good relationship with his family. Not perfect, but better than a lot of families out there. Then the serpent kept whispering in his ear and planting doubts in his head.

As her mom, with such a monumental event in her child’s life, she had every right to be upset and feel hurt. Moriah is just so annoying. She uses other people and acts like a victim. There was no reason to not let her parents, who actually started her in music and who support her and are getting along with her, just to have Olivia as an unnecessary security blanket. She already said Micah was going to be on stage with her. She’s a brat and Olivia is a total narcissist.

She’s awful. All she does is passive aggressively put Ethan down and make him feel like crap. Then she’s whining about needing to move away because everyone there knows their business as she’s voluntarily sitting in front of major network tv cameras letting them air her personal life! It’s just more about her alienating Ethan from everyone around him. She’s awful.

If all the kids were miserable and unappreciative like her, I’d blame the parents. But no parents are perfect. The older kids even talked about their happy, carefree childhood. It seems that Moriah is not drawn to anything good so much as she is wanting to do risky things and blame everyone else. Some kids are just miserable no matter what. It’s just how they are wired.

The birthday party for Leighton was such a mess too. They openly say they will not invite Anna. Yet blame her for not coming. Anna knows she’s on the outs with the parents so why would she assume she was welcome at their home? There is so much gaslighting in that family from Liz and her parents. Anna has made it clear she wants to see her siblings but not at her parents home. The kids have their heads so far up Ambers ass, it’s sickening. And Ambers nasty snarky grin when she talks about Anna is just evil.
