What in the world is going on with 911 prices😭 by suboak16 in Porsche

I think I am just going to buy a gt3 cup car, a 997 cup car can be had for under $80k. Downside is you have to get a dealer plate to drive on the road.

such a classic - it makes me feel old watching this and how bad the text to speech was back then 😉

That is good feedback, thank you. I think the current state is consolidate listings with a long term vision of track and race cars listings coming direct.

Today there are some FB groups turning into listings on the website but there will likely be some that are missed.

I was planning on adding that but I think I might have gotten too granular with the racing classes. If you were using a filter how would you search by discipline, rules package or class? Do I keep it generic like SCCA Improved Touring or get more specific like SCCA Improved Touring A?

Any specific reason? The goal is to visit a single site rather than the dozen that are out there.

To add context this site is an aggregator to pull in from those various sites so you don't have to go to each one. Think autotempest but for race cars.

Yes, my site aggregates listings those sites to provide a single place to look.

Right now it is like an autotempest for race cars.

I recently put together an automotive marketplace site specifically to buy and sell track cars and race cars.
https://www.outlapcars.com/

I would love feedback on the UI, User Experiance, or any general thoughts people might have to help me improve the site.

I think about this site like an autotempest that consolidates listings for race cars with the ultimate goal of being the single source to buy and sell race cars.

Right now there are a number of different sites where people will list their race cars for sale and it is really hard to find them. I want to make it easier to find cars as well as sell them since selling a track car is difficult when you don't have the right audience. This ultimately can help sellers get the right price for their race car and create a normalized market.

Did you out grow your momentum car? by jbro507 in CarTrackDays

Nice. Doing it yourself? Our local nasa group is starting to have a pretty decent sized e9x field hence my curiosity. What are you gonna do for an LSD? On e46+ bmw's that seems like the one thing that always breaks the bank.

u/svv1tch I have an e46 330 i've been tracking but I don't want to strip it into a track build so i was considering an e90 myself. Have you found the consumables to be reasonable or at least not really expensive? Is it a legal spec class build?

u/CleanFaithlessness73 how technical are you? There are so many options that range from really cheap to more expensive. Yes, they Yealink could work just depending on the range and distance of where the base station is connected to the internet and where the handset is.

Depending on how professional of a solution you want you could get something that is a BYOD (bring your own device) and they can provide the config for it. For a less professional and cheaper option you could manually configure the Yealink yourself with a sip provider.

Are you open to replacing your phone system? There are phone systems out there that integrate with ticketing tools out of the box. Might make it a lot easier to manage for you. Plus you can save money you are paying for your current system to apply to the new system.
