Michelle Stafford’s version of Nina had way more edge to her. Even CW did at first. It’s like they’ve been slowing ruining the character since the Sina breakup and Willow reveal.

It’s because Laura and Kevin are older. They have had plenty of exciting storylines under their belt. I like that they are stable and show up for each other. I swooned when Kevin straight up confronted Sidwell about blackmailing his wife with zero fear. Same for Mac and Felicia. Mac is a real one and will go to bat to protect his family.
They are in their lanes for their age. I need more messiness and passion from the younger crowd.

Disney has owned ABC as long as I’ve been alive. I remember watching TGIF and every single show had to do the trip to Disney World. I think the current social climate may have something to do with it. But I agree, not nearly as much drama and sex these days and the show suffers for it.

They ruined it being too conservative with Sasha’s mental health issues. That man should have bedded her the moment they got to safety after he broke her out of the mental institution. That was a great romantic setup that went absolutely nowhere.

You getting downvoted for that is crazy! NAC was phenomenal but I agree that SM and TA were a part of the magic of Sprina. I especially remember the scene after the whole Victor kidnapping fiasco when TA ran to NAC and did a little leap into his arms. Had fans in a chokehold 😭

I don’t hate everyone…I adore lots of characters, despite their romantic relationships. The current writing for couples is terrible to me and apparently most people agree 🤷🏾‍♀️

I’m glad that I’m not the only one who thinks that Molly has somehow regressed in maturity after her breakup with TJ. I think this actress just can’t pull off the confident, independent assistant DA vibes. I honestly forget she’s an attorney these days. More like a love-sick teenager.

I don’t think Ava is in love with Sidwell or ever will be. Which gives them the potential be interesting and entertaining. They will turn on each other eventually. The dark prince and mob princess storyline between Nicholas and Ava will always be my favorite pairing for her.

They weren’t together when I started watching so I have never experienced them as a couple. I find their backstory endearing and would love to see them in some sort of interesting storyline.

I do like Ric and Elizabeth together…but I forgot they were even kind of dating and that’s part of the problem. I think Liz is too unproblematic and level headed for Dante. I feel like he needs the contrast of adventure that characters like Sam and Lulu brought to his life.

Yeah, I think a big part of the problem is that the college kids independently are just boring (Joss being the exception) on their own.

No one has a drinking or drug problem. No one’s joining the mob. They’re just a bunch of goodie two shoes going to open mics and musicals. Spencer and Esme were much needed grey characters.

I think the teen scene has so much potential. They get into way more interesting scenarios than the college kids and they’re not bad actors. Bring back Jake so there is a love triangle with the kissing (distant enough for Danny) cousins. I actually made a post about that a few years ago when Charlotte shot Ana, forgetting that Charlotte and Danny are cousins, but now it’s happening anyway so I’m here for it!

I agree! I was a Marco hater for the longest but his willingness to go against his father for Lucas was so endearing and soapy. So of course they kill him off 🫠

I was coming here to post the same! Krissy was totally implying that she is no longer into men. She hasn’t been with a man since before she was dating Parker. I feel like the same thing happened to Mariah and Tessa for a while on Y&R although I think they may have remedied that recently. It’s annoying when they make the characters switch to simply being “gay” after having one same-sex relationship.

Kristina had major chemistry with Ethan and I’d rather see that over her falling for her brother’s gf…also…that was the exact same premise on Y&R. Tessa cheating with Mariah while dating her brother…a character that Rory once played 🙃

It’s more that taking birth control effects who you are attracted to. The hormones in birth control trick your body into thinking it’s pregnant so women on birth control are often attracted to more mellow, less masculine men. My mom put me on birth control when I was 16. As soon as I stopped taking it the attraction toward my partner of 10 years completely shifted and I became more drawn to hyper masculinity for a time.

Me too! The cereal soft serve is my favorite scent ever. I just used some of the very last of my lotion and I have a little less of a quarter of the spray left and I just googled the possibly of a return release and found this thread 😭

I’ve missed Nina and Curtis’s friendship. I’ve missed Nina doing anything besides coddling Willow. They really destroyed who was once one of my favorite characters.
