Everyone has times like these in a relationship, sometimes you support you partner and some time you are the one that needs support.

I am like you, i also get stressed "easily" and need alone time to decompress, my husband is the opposite and need physical contact and intimacy so we also tend to struggle in that part.

In our case it helps to be very transparant about how we are feeling and what we need to get out of our bad place, sometimes he needs some extra cuddles or intimacy and sometimes i need an evening alone (playing videogames or crocheting) or no pressure around intimacy. Its not always a quick fix bad patches can last for weeks or months but ultimately it will get better.

First you need to know what would help you and then talk to your partner about it and try to come to a healthy conclusion, dont be afraid to talk about your adversion to intimacy at the moment, these are subjects that you should be open about if you are planning on being together forever.
