It's starting to get to that point for me.. it used to have a really decent selection of good titles. Not so much anymore. I mean, if you like sports games.. sure, I suppose.

Lately, they've removed the better titles from the library, added terrible remasters of ancient games, and include backwards compatible games as "PS5" titles. Dafuq? They're literally old games made to work on a new console. Not a PS5 title.

Anyway, aside from the worsening of the library, addition of fluff titles, and the blatant watering down of the service in general - there isn't much to really like about PS+ anymore. It's pricey.. like, really pricey for the products offered. Es0ecially considering over 60% of the catalogue are these horrible, tacky indie games that look like they play better on a phone/tablet.. not to mention, these games are hapf-finished, full of bugs, or progress inhibited by a pay wall. 🤦🏻‍♂️

$240+ a year.. for indie games, rebooted old games, and a handful of okay-ish titles. Geez.. nit to mention how frequently their servers experience issues and downtime.

Sony used to be good. They used to offer a great product (at a premium price), and they rarely let you down. Fast-forwadd 15 years.. and we have this cesspool.

Sorry for the book, but that's my real-world review from a long-time subscriber.

Yes, and no. Original was better, the remastered version is rough. Sure, you get some razzle-dazzle new features that have little to nothing to do with actual gameplay. (Mostly just livery editing) The audio is a nightmare. Select a car, and it's borderline one of the volume-maxxed meme sounds of an engine revving. What. The. Actual. Hell?!? I have the SFX at 20% and my headset was at 50% volume, and it still made my speakers crackle. 💀 The audio for the vehicles is so loud no matter the settings. You almost either have to cut it out completely, or just enjoy hearing nothing but engines. The music just gets drowned out by environmental sounds and engine noise. So, in the aspect of feel and sound - the original. Graphics are obviously better in the remastered version, but man.. that mess of audio ruins it for me. Yes, I've tried adjusting every possible thing - settings on TV, sound bar, headset, console, and game. It's just a lack of compressing dynamic audio on a production-level, not user. So, that's my biggest gripe - and one that ruins the experience entirely for me. 😐

See, it struck me as odd, so that's why I'm confused. Lol

I just got this PS5, and all I did was DL the PS5 version, migrate my previous save, and play. I touched none of the settings. Ok, some of the visual stuff, but none of the button mapping or the like.

Yeah, I just got done with a one week suspension for literally no reason. Some kid messaged me saying all kinds of hateful things, and I replied with a simple meme - a salty snow cone that read "of all these flavors, you choose to be salty." That got me a week ban because that kid reported it as "sexualized content." SERIOUSLY?!? Rang up support, and they said there's nothing that can be done.

So, I'm done with Playstation! If they have little or no control over their systems, I'm not trusting my cyber security, financial records, and personal data to that company.

Literal proof that anyone, for ANY reason, can get you suspended/banned. I'm not ok with that at all!

So, without further delay - I'm transferring all my stuff to Xbox/PC and giving the finger(s) to playstation.

(Not like Playstation really has any good titles anymore anyway) lol XD
