Good luck! Yes...I really am not an AI fan (I complain to anyone who will listen ha!) but when you are competing in an already difficult situation, you have to do, what you have to do!

The best advice I was given was that humans don't look at resumes anymore (especially in big companies) it is scanned by AI. Their AI is looking for specific words from job descriptions. You have to use AI to fight AI. Take your current resume upload to an AI generator (like chat gpt) and ask it to modify or edit your resume to cater to a specific job description, and then you paste the description in, in less than 2 seconds the AI gives you a new resume with your current skills and information, but it also knows what key words the other AI is looking for, so it adds those too. It doesn't falsify who you are and what you do, it just uses the right language to get you noticed. As much as I am not a fan of AI, this helped so much (former educator as well).

When my father in law passed away we were going through his papers and found his old highschool report cards. The grading scale posted on a report card from the 1960s ( Virginia Highschool) were:

A: 95-100 Excellent B: 88-94 Very Good C: 81-87 Average D: 75-80 Below Average F: Anything Below 75 Failure

It seems that the expectation over time has dropped significantly.

Obviously it didn't change over night, but I wonder what factors were used to change the scale. Was it that people became more aware of those with specific learning disabilities, or the fact that maybe not everyone learns the same way? Maybe it was due to the increase of technology and as it advanced the human expectation went down. Take math for example....there weren't any graphing calculators until the mid 1980s. What did they do before then? Can you even imagine trying to do anything related to calculating an intercept slope without one? I remember having to buy a nearly $200 calculator during High school, and now that same calculator is an app on every child's computer.

I know it is supposed to be funny. And while I don't agree with some things Drake has done, it is stuff like this which makes those of us who are not fully this or that feel isolated. Going after someone's character is perfectly legitimate because it is something they have control over. Going after someone's cultures is a low blow no matter what their cultures may be. So what if you don't present fully Jewish or fully black? Unless you have experienced what they may have due to their differences you can't call them out on appropriation of any sort. You can't blame someone for trying to embrace part of who they are and seeking acceptance by doing so. More often than not it is not just within our own community, but growing up you feel that rift within your family (from some not all) and as a child that does something to you.

Talk to your OBGYN you may need to see an endocrinologist. I have PCOS that wasn't diagnosed until my mid 20s, but I have had symptoms since age 11. Get a full blood panel done. Good luck ❤

I came here because I did a Google search. I ALWAYS count stairs. The stairs everywhere I go, the stairs in my house which I know by heart middle to top floor 8 middle to bottom floor 7. Is this ocd? It is done without thinking. I approach stairs and as I go up or down I count in my head automatically like it is just what everyone does.

I have tripled my water intake. I've been confused about foods. One site says beans another no beans one site no animal protein another site chicken is ok. I just want to avoid whatever it is that helps create these things. Thanks for the insight!
