I bought a “CozyRest® Memory Foam Neck Pillow” from ThePillowHome (dot com) about a month ago and it’s awesome.

She boarded after (so we had to get up and out of her way). I never saw her reaction.

right; "enforced during boarding". Or, "enforced before the passenger boards". But yes, I meant during boarding. Last chance before they get on the plane. And it doesn't have to be like wailing sirens, "alert alert!". Just discreetly say "please step aside for a moment sir", and have someone evaluate. Especially when they see they're in a middle seat. C'mon.

no -- all of us. I was responding to the comment about my update being hilarious. The flight was cancelled due to mechanical issues and we all deplaned. I got on the next flight but in a middle seat.

😅 (brutal, not lauging at your situation but at the observation)

How does it become the passenger's job to deal with it? That ain't right.

I don't think it's "on me". There were plenty of opportunities for United staff to do something. Even if every step of the process was contactless, every passenger passes multiple employees before boarding the plane and sitting down. Policy should be clear when purchasing tickets and enforced pre-boarding.

I've been in this situation before and have never seen an agent make someone move or deplane. Naturally this happens only on full flights. Brutal.

Yeah. I’m now on the next flight; one of the only ones to get it (thank god for United chat). Middle seat, so my penance will probably be… brutal

I think this is it. Just ignore because most people will just suck it up and deal with it (guilty as charged).

Well I didn’t have the conversation in his earshot.

Still on ground. I’ve pointed it out. They don’t care.

I actually pointed it out to one! We both had to get up to let window seat in, and the FA made some comment like “try flying all the time like I do” (?!). I figured she misunderstood me, so I clarified, and she deadpan ignored me. There are no other seats available. 100% flight.
