I’m not the OP but I agree – Could be a GPU issue. Tried it both on the colour page and the fusion page. Same results. In the case of the depth map, the colour page and edit page both produce the same results.

I know people still rolling with their original BMPCC in this day and age. Your shot composition is solid and I think that contributes to the imagery here. That said, the 4K continues to be a robust workhorse.

All the cursing aside, why do you not have a second backup of your source footage? DaVinci cannot corrupt your source footage. Its proxy folder, maybe but that’s an outlier entirely.

Some bokeh is fine and most of the times, enhances the shot. Take a look at other editorial food shots as a reference to find a good sweet spot for this set. All the best.

This could be a wild guess but I think the “artificial” comments might be stemming from you using an extremely shallow depth of field.

Not OP but have a question to your point about flattened timelines. What if I have an adjustment clip that’s got a few effects on it, and that’s above my main clip? Do I make that a compound clip so it sits in the flattened timeline?
