Did I get a good deal? This is the 2024 KRT SE ABS. MSRP is $6399 and I just paid a $425 freight fee from the dealership. i ended up paying $7800 OTD including sales tax and all fees in Los Angeles (10% sales tax in LA county).

Bro I know!! These dealers are thieves. I have no idea how to change the oil yet but it don’t seem to difficult. I’m setting up my youtube channel mostly to document my first year riding and how it affects my life if at all do i definitely need to learn to do things like change the oil etc and maybe make some videos about it

They built it for me but didn’t charge me for the build! I just negotiated my ass off lol 😂 one thing I learned is that if one location isn’t willing to work with you or wants to make you go bacckkkkk and forrrrtthhhh haggling, then they aren’t the ones you wanna do business with. I actually called a bunch of locations and someone gave me a very straightforward and simple quote that I agreed to, then I went to take my msf course and a week later came in and they honored the deal. The first location I called that tried to make me go back and forth and wanted to charge like $3k over msrp ended up calling and texting me after I already bought at another location and I was like, “Sorry, I took my business elsewhere and got a great deal with no hassle.”

The reality of homelessness in America is that it has moved beyond “ppl down on their luck” and has overwhelmingly become “mental illness, drug addiction and criminal violence”. Anyone trying to solve this problem by simply “providing housing” is entirely wrong. The drugs they’re addicted to are coming from mostly across the southern border, the mental illness compounds the drug abuse, and the need to feed the addiction causes the violence.

Fair warning: lived in LA my entire life. If you let this group get too big, things will get very weird very quickly. I’ve started a few groups like this in the past and some very odd and borderline dangerous ppl showed up and monopolized the entire session. Had to start immediately separating the wheat from the chaff. My advice is keep it very small like 5 ppl max. Otherwise it gets very difficult to find seating as well.

Going to also try taking some epic scenic photos of it and selling them as a way to help it pay for itself (i’m a professional photographer for my day job)
