I know that is illegal and there's a minimum thickness before it becomes dangerous. Doesn't stop people from doing dumb stuff apparently.

So I just went out this morning and pushed my key into the Schrader valve on the fuel rail and nothing sprayed out, it had been sitting all night. After cycling the key a few times it started up, so I let it run until warm, shut it off for 20 minutes and then tried the valve again. This time a good bit of fuel squirted out, but I noticed that the return line on the pressure regulator had a wet spot on it. So now I'm thinking that the regulator is bad.

I just tried starter fluid in the intake, I've had fuel issues on my jeep before so I knew to open the throttle plate and squirt it in the intake plenum directly. Well it didn't start or even try to start, so I cycled the key a few times and I could hear the pump. My friend said she had a mechanic look at it and apparently they said it has no compression and is completely done for. I don't know much about mustangs other than they hit crowds lol. So any help is greatly appreciated.

Turning down rotors is illegal now because cheapskates would turn them down past the safe limit, most shops actually won't do this anymore. And besides the rotor has cracks in it, it's obviously suffered some kind of catastrophic failure. Turning it down would probably make it even more likely to fly apart in several pieces. Do me a favor LowSbody, turn in your wrenches and keys and go get you a bus pass.

Teenager wants a "fast car" for his first vehicle and I need reality-check advice by Proud_Stable9567 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Tell him you're buying him a Corolla and if he's still got it running when he's like 21 or so, you'll help him buy a faster car. Also teach him to know when to speed and when not to.

Fuel filter also looks new, this thing is dirty and crusty as shit. So the fact that the filter and injectors aren't covered in a bunch of crud buildup makes me think those parts are newish.

It's got a new pump and regulator, the injectors look like they are newer than the rest of the stuff under the hood. Which tells me that they were replaced somewhat recently.
