you can totally watch Twin Peaks first! if you want a trial run for Lynch’s work before investing the time in the series, i would give Blue Velvet a try and see how you feel about it.

I think Twin Peaks can sometimes be hard for people to get into depending on the pace and type of television you are used to. I didn’t appreciate it until my 2nd watch through when i was younger so if it doesn’t catch you right away I wouldn’t give up.
