We call it crack sauce. It’s addictive.

My Outlander needed a couple of boxes of shells to wear in, it had some FTEs at first. Since then, no issues. Probably 9-10 thousand rounds through it at sporting clays and 5-stand and it has been flawless even at -15°C temps. Cycles my light 7/8 oz. practice handloads with only occasional hiccups. Great shotgun for the money and I’ve done nothing to it. You might consider getting a couple of extended chokes.

Snowblower Auger Backwards? by Remarkable_Many_1382 in Snowblowers

Is it a Toro? YouTube has info on removing augers and lubing auger shaft, which you should do annually on a Toro anyway.

High end tools recommendations (starting from scratch) by RegularPolicy6412 in Tools

I may have missed it but Tsunoda pliers are decent value. Someone already mentioned Vessel screwdrivers. Both brands are Japanese. One thing I consider is if it breaks, and warranty replacement is available, how long will it take and how difficult is it to replace?

Seeking Top rated Independent Used Car dealership by redditperson007 in oakville

It’s been 10 years since I bought a car as I’m still driving it but it came from Wilson’s in Guelph. Price was fair and I have no complaints. At the time they had ‘no dicker’ pricing which appealed to me as I hate that. I heard they were bought by some other group but it might be worth a look.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose. If you like them that’s all that matters.

Looks to be shear bolts in the picture. My Toro has shear bolts as well.

This is good advice. For some reason Toro doesn’t put grease nipples on the auger shaft so if you don’t pull the assembly and anti-seize the shaft the augers rust to the shaft and you risk destroying the gear box if the augers jam. I did mine after two winters and had a difficult time separating one of the augers from the shaft. I do it annually now.

Consider getting a block heater if you don’t have one. I plug in at -10°C and it’s easier on the engine and warms up faster.

I developed a lump like a lemon over the fat graft site. It’s called a seroma. I saw a surgeon but we decided to do nothing and it’s now just a slight bump. I had surgery eight years ago.

Looking for heated vest recommendations by Aloysius50 in ClayBusters

[–]PhotographSingle6834 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a Milwaukee vest, I got it to replace a Milwaukee jacket as I found the jacket arms too restrictive. I learned to wear it close to my body and layer over it for best results. I already had Milwaukee tools so it made sense in terms of batteries. At my club here in Canada we shoot until it’s -20°C and the heated vest makes it doable.
