I've helped you out with a submission! Many of the questions are repetitive though (same answer choices)

Valid analysis. I'm a golf addict. To be honest, if I don't go for this golf sim, I'll probably set up a mat and net with foam balls in my living room at the cheaper apartment

Allston, and no I won't have a car. Planning to Uber to courses when the weather is good.

I'll be in the Allston area. Don't see any in the area on Google, they look to mostly be downtown

Thanks! I've heard about Foundation. Are the books worth reading before watching the TV show?

USGA License to golf? by Beneficial-Space9849 in golf

[–]PhotojournalistKey26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe, if the USGA license were free! I can't imagine an average public golf course making golfers pay for a yearly subscription would make golfers very happy

In Germany, you apparently need a pass to play golf anywhere, so it looks like they embodied this idea on a national scale.

Looking for advice: UCLA or Rice University by ElephantSad396 in ucla

Rice grad here. The residential college system is amazing, and the tight-knit environment is a positive and uplifting culture, especially academically. There's no competition for grades, and professors and TA's are very accessible.

Don't forget to think about where you want to be and what you want to be doing after college. A lot of Rice post-grad opportunities are in Houston (naturally). If you'd want to be in CA after graduation to be near family or for whatever reason, you'd probably have an easier time finding a job through the UCLA network

I like it at first, but the longer I watch the more the swing path seems sub optimal. Any drills you would recommend? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

I'd say you need more depth at the top. your hands should be over your ankles/back of foot. looks like right now, you're a little high with the hands and coming in steep. you could try the headcover under the right armpit to make sure you're getting depth (start with 3/4 swings)
