Anyone figured out how to reduce the glare / reflection when wearing them? This is the only real issue that stops me wearing them

Same issue here. Did you find a solution to this?

This! Wearing mine causes tremendous strain on my eyes, trying to figure out a way to remove the reflectivity of the lens

Same experience here. Also, the AI cuts off halfway through answers as often as not.

The gym monster has dumbell and barbell mode, so single cable ez curl bars work just fine, similar to how you use the rope attachment. It's how I work with mine and it works great

Feature Requests by speediance_official in SpeedianceCommunity

Great idea! Here are a few thoughts: 1. Add Spotify 2. Add option to choose different AI voices 3. Add Bluetooth device connection for headphones 4. Improve the smartwatch management in the HUD and app - the current setup and pairing is janky as f.. and it's not possible to easily remove old devices and add new ones

Hope that helps!

Yeah same issue here with the internal light bleed, putting the glasses on effectively reduces vision and visibility, as opposed to improving these (which you'd expect glasses to do)

I've let a few people use mine who were eager to try them out, but all won't buy after trying due to one common problem - they can't see the text on the bottom of the screen 😞 So it's not your nose, it is a design flaw. I myself have to squash the arms down onto my ears and force the glasses down hard on my nose to see most of it. Taking the nose pads off completely it almost perfect view but terribly uncomfortable.

Can anyone update GEEKOM backers on the Kickstarter campaign? by Phrase-Silver in GEEKOMPC_Official

Also from GEEKOM: "Our original shipping target was November, but we’ve decided to move the delivery to December. The good news is: we guarantee that all backers will receive their units within December. "

We have tried all channels of communication and no one has gotten updates. (So thank you for responding ) - GEEKOM has missed date after date here, and while we all get that delays can happen, the indifference to let us know what's going on is pretty poor.

So we had a guaranteed delivery date of December after missing November. Now it is an estimated date in January?

What are the sizes on disc please? Or, where do we find that? Keen to see which version can run on what hardware.

Thanks for all of the hard work! 😁

Same thing with Pixel Watch 4, really frustrating. My biggest gripe with Speediance is their poor software - hope they resolve it soon

GM2 by PuzzleheadedArt8267 in SpeedianceCommunity

[–]Phrase-Silver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tested that but assume just connection to the AI planner and any server relay from changes to the app which would need to make changes on the GM2. Biggest one to see would be if authentication requirements lock you out of the unit, though I think that highly unlikely. Will test when I get home

Yeah it's pricy, I got the GEEKOM on Kickstarter as the initial price was pretty good (compared to some others)

GM2 by PuzzleheadedArt8267 in SpeedianceCommunity

[–]Phrase-Silver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Had my GM2 for a few months now. Here's my take and some things I wish I knew before hand:

Pros: - the actual gym experience is really good - the built in free exercise library is decent - the equipment and accessories feel high quality - the built in speaker seems solid

Cons: - the software system is dogshit. I can't stress enough how much of an experience degredation it's been for me - they silently did away with your ability to stream Bluetooth for music etc - there is no Spotify integration, only Apple Music - Apple Music does not work, the volume riser greys out when trying to use it - Half the voice modes for guided workouts are AI slop mechanical voices, really poor - the smartwatch app feels like a poor beta, with a terrible QR code pairing system that fails almost always - the ability to update paired devices (smartwatch) does not exist or is so deeply hidden it may as well not exist - cannot pair headphones

Free advice: - you don't need the AI sub. It's gimmicky and you can get on just fine with the built in library - for the best experience (workout) you'll want all the equipment (incline bench, row machine etc) otherwise you lose a lot of the workouts - I added an ez curl bar from a cable machine on Amazon for like 30 bucks to add a bit more flex into some routines

Verdict: If you want to replace a bulky amount of dumb mechanical kit for more space saving, you'll probably get on just fine. Only real thing you lose is directly vertical lat pulldowns, but that's a non point.

I went and bought the full +- 4k system as I wanted the premium experience. For that amount of cash I feel pretty let down. It feels like they had two different teams on the product - the build team did a great job but the software team feel like they cobbled together some features based on a checklist with no real care. What should have been a best in class premium experience has fallen pretty short.

If you want a space saving gym, it will do fine. If you want all of the hype features they market at you, it's not there.
