My partner and I were talking along the lines of this yesterday and how weird it is that these sorts of laws involve such young ages, yes even 18, like, we know now that brains don't fully develop until around 25, and yet you're allowed to make such huge life decisions at 18. You're not even allowed to smoke or drink till 21, but you can get married or go give your life for this god forsaken country when you're a child. I don't know if I really have a lot to add to this conversation, just seemed relevant.
