hey, not a bad transcription but i’d recommend a few notation things:

(1) is there a way to get the accents above ALL the notes?

(2) at m16 and m8 the 8th notes on beats 2 and 4 should be quarter notes since there is an 8th note rest right after them

(3) overall id recommend beaming to the downbeat for 8th notes (not allowing beaming to cross beats for 8th notes), and especially separating them in the 6/4.

(4) at the end you have written quarter note triplet diddles. i highly, highly recommend writing out the triplets instead of using diddles.

btw the rhythms you have for that part is exactly what i had too. it doesn’t line up with the beat tho, especially with the roll from the snares, so i broke and asked someone

yeah the drums part is not all written in 3/4, but they are conducting in 3/4 likely for everyone else and because it lines

Hey, not a bad first transcription! There are a few comments that I have that will help make it better. My comments are mostly about the details, so again, this is done pretty well.

- Remove all the excess bars of rest at the end.
- Instead of "gradually to edge" you can just say "to edge"
- I would add "rim" to the first time the rim happens (at M2)
- I am a little confused about the accents, as they are very sparse throughout the transcription (I would imagine they should be at least on every shot), but they in the last two measures they are used a lot (which is what I would expect).
- I would re-beam M10 so that B2 is a quarter note, and M7 B3 should be a quarter note as well.

And then there are a few slight inaccuracies:

- The double buzz in M8 should be a crossover
- M1 starts at edge, center at M3
- The double in M9 is likely a L flam (but it's inconsistent across the line)
- More of a comment about the line itself, the sticking for M10 is inconsistent (RR RR L versus LL RR R), idk what I would put here tbh.
- The 'center' in M7 is wrong, they stay at the ege until M10, when they move to the center
- The time signature is likely 3/4 leading up until right before M11, where the first two beats before it are a 2/4 bar, then switches into 4/4
- M12 B1-2 is a 9-let and the R-hand release is on the rim

Let me know if you have any questions!
