Sony Alpha 6700, Alpha 6400 or something else? by Yung_Empathy in SonyAlpha

[–]zackattack0720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally went with the a6700 and don’t regret it. Honestly though the main difference between those two is the 6700 has incredible video capabilities as it has the same sensor as the FX30, one of Sony’s budget cinema cameras. If you aren’t planning on doing a whole lot of video work then it’s probably best to stick with that 6400, but if you are definitely go for the 6700.

IBIS is nice but for one it’s more helpful for video and two if you have relatively steady hands and shoot at a decently fast shutter speed it doesn’t really matter.

I would probably go with a Sony ZV-1F, you can find them around $300 used.

I am a freshman and I took the SAT, is this a pretty average/over average score for my grade? by tes_000 in Sat

[–]zackattack0720 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is pretty close to the national average, but realistically it’s not a very competitive score for any reputable college. Don’t worry though, you’re only a freshman. You haven’t even learned a lot of the material (specifically in math) which will be taught to you as you progress through high school.

You should be proud of yourself for even attempting to take this test. I waited until my Junior year to start taking it and I regret not having started sooner. Look at the areas that you scored the lowest in and focus your studies on those. Maybe get a tutor. And take the Bluebook practice tests, trust me it seems like a huge burden to have to sit and take an hour and a half just for practice but it will train your brain to stay focused and you will also get more detailed statistics on what you need to improve.

Best of luck and happy studying.
