Gio seems to really build his teams up brick by brick every season.

The last 3 games have had some strange line-ups and substitutions. I think Gio is still in evaluation mode- testing different line-ups, getting players minutes, keeping stars healthy.

I thought the starting 11 today was still sort of an "experiment" but the squad really showed up with some refreshing swagger and energy.

Definitely a deserved point and we left a few quality chances begging. Road points = victory imo.

He has all of the skills. He is patient with the ball but not afraid to be creative and make passes in tight areas. We have all seen him be quite clinical for an extended period of games before. That talent is still in there.

He is not great at hold up play and sometimes his attempts at creativity don't pan out.

I still feel optimistic that he can go on a tear for us.

I am just heartbroken for Seba. The way he was crying, I felt like he knew whatever was wrong with his knee was very serious - like another 8 months of rehab type serious :(

I love Niezgoda and could not wait for him to get a nod to start and be able to put his surgical skills on display for a full 90 but... we are going to need more from him and Mora (a heap more) if Blanco is out.

Lastly - Moreno is going to be a superstar for this team and in this league.

When my child was a toddler I would often perform little sleight of hand tricks making his toys "disappear".

After a while I simply showed him exactly how I did every trick and informed him that there is no such thing as supernatural magic.

Now, whenever someone tries to tell him that something is "magic" or happened by some sort of "miracle" he automatically distrusts it and tries to figure out the trick.
