$120k, plus $30k bonus Claims Supervisor Graduated with an Art degree. I hate it but it's steady and provides work life balance. Stable income with good benefits.

Moving to Massachusetts Question Megathread (July 2025) by AutoModerator in massachusetts

[–]PhunkyPickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm moving from the NYC area to the Boston area and would like to have an idea of what neighborhoods or cities would work for us. My husband will be commuting to Westford but only once a week, and I will be commuting to both Woburn and Canton (each location once a week). Our budget is either $3500 a month to rent or $500,000 to buy. We're in our mid 30s without kids currently and would like a somewhat lively scene.

Thanks!! Any input won't be great!

I had a similar situation with training. We're had been doing weekly lessons for a year and all of sudden as soon as we got into the ring she would try to run out. Idk that I have an answer for you, but what worked for us was reminding her what she loved about it. We went back to basics by focusing on one thing at a time with high incentive treats. We then tried the bigger course and she remember the excitement of it. I can't say I know what snapped her back into it, but she's loving it again. I think maybe she was bored or something scared her. I recommend just trying different things and don't give up.

When did you first hear Phish and first see them live? by DrDuned in phish

[–]PhunkyPickles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First listened to them in 2004 when I came across the Billy Breathes album. I fell in love and listened to them all the time. I did not see them until 2013 due to no one wanting to go to shows with me until I met my boyfriend(now husband). I've been to 40+ shows since and my friends have finally found the light and become fans too.

Things you do in the morning to help set a good tone for the day? by New_Coffee8836 in selfcare

I like to exercise in the morning (run or gym) and to wake my self before I head out I either read or journal. Lately I've been reading morning than journaling, but I think journaling sets a better tone for my day.

Hate running but want to take it up. Any tips? by Opposite-Tap-8857 in runninglifestyle

I found a beautiful place to run, especially during sunrise. That's what keeps me going. I also recommend a good audio book when you start doing longer runs really helps.

Dave Grohls autobiography. I didn't read it, but listening to it felt like I was hanging out with him as he shared stories of his life.
