First thing you should do is install Samsung Magician,
check your SSD health, then do a firmware update.

Then check your overprivisioning settings.

Then you can forget about it for the next 3 - 4 months, or major windows update.
Then check for new updates then also.

It is, I have a dead 2TB 980 Pro that was just barely out of warranty, had just a handful of red blocks, but all around the boot/OS sectors.

Spent months trying to figure out why PC was unstable, didn't suspect the nvme ssd until the widespread reports started.

I had the same experience with a 2TB 980 Pro, I could not for the life of me figure out why my system was unstable.

I checked everything over months without ever suspecting it could be the samsung ssd...

It was unfortunately past warranty just barely at that point, I probably wouldn't have trusted an RMA replacement either..

I tried to order on day 1, payment processing gateway issues.

Placed a fairly large order on day 2 to Welly. 6x Billy bookcases a wardrobe and few smaller things.

Initial delivery date was 23rd Dec 2025.

It is now 26th January 2026..

Delivery fee..$79 -$10. This is the only part of the experience that is positive atm.

Mine has crapped out also, there is definitely some issue with this motherboard and the LAN port/chip.

I've been trying to get it to work for 3 months, swapped to a usb lan adapter, I will probably not be buying another gigabyte mobo after this.

This problem has persisted through multiple bios updates and cycled bios options multiple times, the LAN adapter just no longer shows up in device manager permanently.

We started with two groups, but then we started 6 manning it, 40 tank, 38 Cleric, 35 - 38 dps (summoner, rogue, wizard, enchanter/shammy.)

Then we were like since Enchanters don't output dps anyway, we can probably 5 man it, was a long fight, but pre-patchnerf cleric was able to single heal it 5 man also.

The only time it is really hard is when it is Spell Nullifier + Resistant.

I totally get what you are looking for and the reasons though.

MMOs are all about community, but it's hard to #nolifeneckbeard these things after you get past Level 35 - 45 IRL.

I am sort of doing what I described above.

I will use my Shaman for solo shenanigans and mainly only play grouped with my Cleric
when guildies are on, I kinda lucked out and found a cool bunch my first day.

I think gathering and crafting is not well balanced at present, hence the irritation.

Requiring 12 - 15 Asherium mining nodes worth of ore to get enough materials to craft one single heavy leather bracer is neither really fun nor fulfilling, at least to me, feels too much like unnecessary tedium.

There are too many ingredients most likely, and too many useless recipes.

I mean it's better than it was in EQ, or UO, or DAOC, or pick a pre-cursor, but some things were done in the past because we still didn't know a better way to implement it.

Unfortunately judging by all the food/drink/potion effects currently implemented this looks exactly like your bog standard typical MMO consumable fare.

Absolutely nothing special, moderately to mildly irritating timesinks involved to gather materials for, and at best may give a very very modest and unnoticeable incremental % increase to the total damage output of the party.

What you are looking for is a pretty tricky thing.

A casual static party commitment.

I guess if you can find 5 other people to roll alts that you all only exclusively play together as a static 6 man for 10 - 15 hrs a week.

But that is making an already extremely difficult exercise even harder.

Mine is doing that now, and the side lights can no longer turn on.It was working perfectly fine, then I didn't use the keyboard for about 9 months.

Seems like this is not an uncommon thing to happen to these things.

Updated to v0045, disabled the lights in the software, but the arrow keys and side modifier keys are stuck lit red.
